Abstract: A fishing lure comprising at least one hook and a lure attachment element are assembled to a body. The body includes a lure bait receiving cavity extending inward from a mouth opening located at a lure leading region. A series of protrusions extend radially inward from the mouth, preferably formed to resemble teeth. The body additionally includes a series of spatially arranged gills along each side thereof. Each gill includes a gill opening providing a fluid passageway passing through a body sidewall, a gill cover extending outward from a body exterior surface, and a gill aerating blade extending inward from a body interior surface and terminating at an aerating blade edge. Water flows into the bait receiving cavity, passing across the agitating and/or aerating interior blade and respective distal edge, wherein the water aerates discharging bubbles. The bait and/or bubbles are provided to attract fish to the lure.
