  • Patent number: 12143787
Abstract: Certain embodiments relate generally to modifying audio playing on a first device based on detection of that audio by a second device. Other embodiments relate to transferring audio between a first device and a second device. More particularly, audio playing from a first device may be muted, stopped, or adjusted in volume based on detection of that audio by, or interaction with, a second device. Likewise, audio may be transferred from a first device to a second device based on communications between the first and second devices, proximity of the first and second devices relative to one another, proximity of a user to either the first or second device, and so on.

  • Publication number: 20240312634
Abstract: A mental health equipment data store may contain electronic records associated with mental health equipment identifiers. For each mental health equipment identifier, the data store may include a communication address and associated equipment parameters. A risk relationship data store may contain electronic records associated with parties having risk relationships with an enterprise. A back-end application computer server may associate a selected equipment identifier in the mental health equipment data store with a selected party having a risk relationship with the enterprise. The server may update the risk relationship data store with the selected equipment identifier and arrange to collect selected mental health data for the selected party in accordance with the communication address of the selected equipment identifier.

  • Patent number: 12086319
Abstract: At a device with a touch-sensitive surface, a display, and one or more tactile output generators, a button configuration user interface that includes a plurality of tactile output settings for a button is displayed on the display, wherein the button is available on the device in a plurality of different contexts to cause performance of a respective operation in response to an input of a first type detected on the button. While a respective tactile output setting for the button is selected in the button configuration user interface, in response to detecting a first input of a first type on the button, a respective tactile output that corresponds to the respective tactile output setting is generated without causing performance of the respective operation.

  • Publication number: 20240274901
Abstract: A registration method for digital radiography of thin flexible multilayer materials, which includes adding surface modifications to a product formed from thin flexible multilayer materials to create high contrast registration markers. The present approach is suited for products that would otherwise display few distinguishable features in high-resolution narrow field of view images. The registration markers are used to register and align a series of high-resolution narrow field of view images of separate portions of a thin, flexible, multilayer product. The aligned images may be digitally stitched together to form a high-resolution composite image of the whole product. The resulting composite image may allow nondestructive inspection to analyze changes to the internal structure of the product over time. The flexible multilayer materials with registration markers may be used in battery cell pouches, which permits tracking internal changes of a lithium-ion pouch cell battery over time.

  • Patent number: 12050228
Abstract: A method of assessing the quality of a biological sample while maintaining the viability of the biological sample for intended use analysis is described herein. The method includes analyzing a biological sample obtained from a subject for an intended use, assessing the quality of the biological sample using one or more biomarkers of sample quality, and simultaneously performing intended use analysis on the same sample. Assessing the quality of the sample can include assessing compliance with sample handling protocols and assessing subject compliance.

  • Publication number: 20030018917
Abstract: The present invention provides a method and apparatus for delivering digital media using packetized encryption data. According to the present invention, a client computing device initiates a session with the server via a computer network and requests a digital media stream. In response, the server authenticates the users and delivers the digital media stream using one or more security processes. In one embodiment, the security process is encryption which is used during the transmission of the digital media from the server to the client. The encryption ensures that the digital stream is protected from copying. In one embodiment, a secure delivery protocol is used wherein a configurable key exchange between the client and the server occurs simultaneous with the delivery of the actual data. As part of the key exchange, encapsulated packets maybe sent between the client and the server, wherein the encapsulated packet contains a header and a payload.
