    Abstract: A corrosion inhibiting composition, comprising 20%-65% (wt.) of a wax; 10.0%-31.0% (wt.) of an oil; and 4.0%-16.0% (wt.) of a active calcium sulfonate. The wax of the corrosion inhibiting composition is preferably a microcrystalline wax, and may be at least partially obtained from petrolatum. Up to 6.0% polypropylene may also be used, either alone or in combination with up to 6.0% polyethylene. The corrosion inhibiting composition may also include SEBS rubber, in an amount of 2.0% to 6.0%.
