Abstract: A protective glove includes a floating cuff joined with a hand portion, the floating cuff configured to encircle a wearer's wrist and/or forearm, the floating cuff being the only layer of protection over a posterior of the wearer's wrist/forearm. The glove can include a first wing panel and a second wing panel, distal from one another, and extending rearward from a rearward edge of the hand portion. The floating cuff can include a primary cuff portion disposed between the first and second wing panels, with the exteriors of all of the primary cuff portion, first and second wing panels lying at a common level and/or laying generally flush with one another. The floating cuff provides enhanced flexibility to the glove, particularly during wrist extension, and can be configured to ride up a wearer's forearm during such wrist extension to provide increased coverage of the forearm.

Abstract: A protective glove including a cable joined with a spool that is joined with the glove. At least one protective pad can be joined with the hand portion to protect the cable and a wearer's hand. The spool can include a rotatable dial to wind and/or unwind the cable onto or off from the spool to increase and/or decrease the tension applied to the cable. In turn, this adjusts at least one of a lateral dimension and a longitudinal dimension of the hand portion of the glove to custom fit the wearer's hand.

The swivel portion has a range of rotation relative to the base portion of the clip.

Abstract: A lacrosse head including a sidewall having upper and lower rails and an optional cross member. At least one of the upper and lower rails and cross member are cored out to define a recess. The recess can be partitioned by multiple trusses into multiple individual voids. The voids can be of increasing depth, progressing from shallower to deeper depths from the bottom rail to the upper rail. The lower rail can be reinforced with additional trusses near the base or ball stop of the head to add strength and rigidity there. The density of the trusses and/or cross sectional area of material can be altered in the upper rail, lower rail and cross member to selectively alter stiffness in those components. The stiffness of these components can also vary to provide different position heads, for example, attack, midfield and defense heads, with selectively different stiffness and strength characteristics.
