  • Patent number: 11907930
Abstract: A method and system for managing payment transactions for a merchant using a computing device coupled to a memory device is described. Each transaction is initiated by a consumer using a payment card. The method includes receiving a registration request from a candidate merchant for enrollment within a manager module wherein the registration request includes registration data associated with the candidate merchant, executing a primary approval process using at least some of the registration data, and transmitting an account request message requesting an opening of a merchant account for the candidate merchant with an acquiring bank upon approval. The method further includes receiving, in real-time, merchant account data associated with the candidate merchant from the acquiring bank upon approval by a secondary approval process wherein the candidate merchant becomes a registered merchant upon the secondary approval.

  • Publication number: 20220278932
Abstract: Systems, methods, computing platforms, and storage media for administering a distributed edge computing system utilizing an adaptive edge engine based on a finite state machine behavioral model are disclosed. Exemplary implementations may: select a first workload from one or more workloads; access, for the selected workload, one or more location optimization strategies from a plurality of location optimization strategies; and optimize an objective function across a portion of the one or more endpoints; select one or more endpoints; deploy the workload on at least one selected endpoint; monitor the health of the endpoint-workload deployment; and direct network traffic to the appropriate endpoint.

  • Patent number: 10949469
Abstract: A device can receive parking information for a set of street segments within a geographic region. The parking information can include metadata for a set of parking spaces within the set of street segments. The device can create a set of block-face objects that represent block-faces within the set of street segments. The device can generate a data structure that associates the parking information for the set of street segments with the set of block-face objects. The device can receive, from a user device, a request for parking information associated with a geographic area. The device can obtain the parking information associated with the geographic area by using location information included in the request to search the data structure. The device can provide the parking information associated with the geographic area for display on a user interface of the user device.

  • Publication number: 20210012345
Abstract: A computer system for fraud detection associated with a card-not-present payment card system is provided. The system includes a network host site and an interchange network including a processor communicatively coupled to a memory device for storing data and to the network host site wherein the processor is programmed to receive a card transaction authorization request message from a merchant, route the card transaction authorization request to the network host site to perform CNP fraud risk scoring, and based on the criteria of the card transaction authorization request, call at least one of a plurality of fraud scoring models defined for criteria of the transaction authorization request. The processor is further programmed to calculate the fraud risk score based on the current transaction authorization request data and an updated card account profile, and transmit the message to an issuer of the payment card for approval of the request.
