  • Patent number: 12288014
Abstract: Discussed herein are methods and systems for an interdependent series/suite of AI models. In one embodiment, a processor receives projection assumption inputs from a user device and executes a population builder machine learning model to predict a dynamic adjustment table. It applies the model to population data to generate a value population file, which simulates a subset of the population based on the predicted table. The file contains value cells representing instances of a product. The device then runs a mortality machine learning model to determine mortality data for the product using the simulated population. Finally, it executes a flow projection model to generate a projection report for the product, incorporating mortality data and projection assumptions.

  • Patent number: 12190361
Abstract: A garment marketplace maintains a population of stored garments, and each of those garments is associated with a display image and a characteristic vector representing characteristics of the garment. The garment marketplace receives an intake garment and obtains a classification image of the intake garment. A garment identification system determines whether the intake garment is the same as one of the stored garments. To do so, the garment identification system applies a garment identification model to the classification image. The model generates a characteristic vector representing the intake garment. If the characteristic vector for the intake vector is the same as a characteristic vector for a stored garment, the garment identification system determines the intake garment is the same as the stored garment.

  • Publication number: 20240348434
Abstract: A computing device includes a memory and a processing device. The memory enters an uninitialized state in response to power being applied to the memory. The processing device is coupled to the memory, and is configured to select a portion of the memory in the uninitialized state to seed a random number generator process. The processing device may alternatively select an uninitialized state of the network hardware that is coupled to the processing device to seed a random number generator process. In one embodiment, the computing device is a compute node in a multi-node processing system, and the memory is a High-Bandwidth Memory.

  • Publication number: 20240311316
Abstract: A computing node in a multi-node computing system includes a local memory, at least one processor, and an access library. The at least one processor runs an operating system that runs a distributed application in a virtual address space. The application includes a process that generates a first memory access request that includes a first virtual address. The access library is responsive to the first memory access request by: converting the first virtual address into a first physical address, accessing the local memory based on the first physical address including a first indication that the first memory access request is for the local memory, and accessing a global access tuple table based on the first physical address including a second indication that the first memory access request is for memory located on a second computing node of the multi-node computing system that is remotely located from the computing node.

  • Publication number: 20240311289
Abstract: A method to address memory in nodes of a distributed memory system includes partitioning the memory in each node into one or more memory blocks available for a global memory pool. The method also includes combining, in response to a request to address memory in the global memory pool, a global bit from a global page table with a physical address to generate a global virtual address. The global bit indicates whether the memory is local or remote. The method also includes translating, using global access tuple (GAT) tables, the global virtual address to a global physical address, and addressing a memory block in the global memory pool based on the global physical address.

  • Publication number: 20240113473
Abstract: Alignment structures are included in high-speed data cage assemblies to prevent damage to one or more electronic components connected within the cage assembly and prevent misalignment of connected components. The alignment structures extend inwardly into a port and prevent movement of a module beyond the intended position of the module in a port. This allows connection between the module and a connector and prevents misalignment of the module. Damage to either the module or the connector by misalignment or by over-insertion of the module is prevented.

  • Patent number: 11842384
Abstract: A system server includes a database of two-dimensional images and a processor coupled to a hardware memory with instructions that in response to execution by the processor direct performance of operations. The operations include generating a digital model from the images in the database and communicating a first portion of the digital model as an enhanced view to a user device. The first portion corresponds to a first line of sight orientation of the user device as measured by an orientation sensor. The operations include receiving a signal based on sensor data measured by the orientation sensor. The signal indicates movement of the user device from the first line of sight orientation to a second line of sight orientation. In response, the method includes communicating a second portion of the digital model to the user device that corresponds to the second line of sight orientation of the user device.

  • Publication number: 20210324912
Abstract: Various embodiments of the present technology generally relate to precise rotary motion control systems. More specifically, some embodiments relate to systems, methods, and means for providing pressure to a non-contact rotary system. In some embodiments, the rotary system comprises a rotary shaft that can rotate three hundred and sixty degrees continuously. In order for the rotary system to be entirely non-contact with any surfaces of surrounding components or housing, pressure must be supplied to a rotary air bearing that floats the rotary unit above a surface. In some examples, the bottom air bearing is a vacuum preloaded (VPL) air bearing. As such, the VPL air bearing requires a supply of positive pressure and a supply of negative pressure to stabilize the rotary unit. The present technology provides a mechanism for providing pneumatic air to the air bearing without a physical connection to the rotary shaft or air bearing.
