  • Publication number: 20240403825
Abstract: Various embodiments provide methods for validating hardware modifications of an IHS (Information Handling System) by confirming that a hardware modification corresponds to a hardware component supplied for installation in the IHS by a trusted entity. During factory provisioning of an IHS, an inventory certificate that specifies the factory installed IHS hardware is uploaded to the IHS and is also stored for ongoing support of the IHS. Upon a hardware component being supplied for installation in the IHS by a trusted entity, the inventory of the stored inventory certificate is updated to identify the supplied component and the updated certificate is transmitted to the IHS. An inventory of detected hardware components of the IHS is compared against the inventory from the updated inventory certificate in order to validate the detected hardware of the IHS includes the component, supplied by the trusted entity, that is identified in the updated inventory certificate.

  • Publication number: 20240399025
Abstract: Methods of making an enhanced bioactive PRP implant include supplying a centrifuge container with a collagen-based scaffold pre-inserted onto a moveable filter within the vial. A centrifuge process for creating the PRP implant is followed, resulting in a PRP/collagen implant combination. Other biologics may be added to the container instead of or in addition to the collagen-based scaffold. Additionally, methods of fixing the PRP implant into place at the point of a tear or wound include applying the PRP implant adjacent to or within a meniscal tear, or underneath or on top of a rotator cuff tear. Suture or staples may then be routed either through or over the PRP implant to hold the implant in place.

  • Publication number: 20240382753
Abstract: Methods and devices for vector-based targeting of the human central thalamus (CT) to guide deep brain stimulation (DBS) are disclosed. In some examples, electrode(s) each with a plurality contacts are provided. A three-dimensional orientation of a dominant axis of a central lateral nucleus dorsal tegmental tract medial component (CL/DTTm) fiber bundle of a human subject is determined. The contacts of the electrode(s) are positioned in the subject's CT fibers in substantial alignment with the three-dimensional orientation. An electrical stimulus is applied to the contacts to selectively activate the CT fibers. The positioning and the applying are carried out to maximize activation of a central lateral nucleus and medial dorsal tegmental tract fiber pathway in the subject and to minimize activation of a centromedian-parafascicularis fiber pathway in the subject. Methods and devices for surgical planning involving for vector-based targeting of the human CT to guide DBS are also disclosed.

  • Patent number: 12149549
Abstract: Devices and techniques are generally described for unused identity and access management rights detection. In various examples, a first skill-usage vector associated with a first profile may be determined. A first nearest neighbor algorithm and the first skill-usage vector may be used to determine a second skill-usage vector grouped together with the first skill-usage vector in a feature space, where the second skill-usage vector is associated with a second profile. A first rights vector associated with the first profile may be determined. The first rights vector associated with the first profile may be compared to a second rights vector associated with the second profile. At least one unused right associated with the first profile may be determined based at least in part on the comparing of the first rights vector to the second rights vector.

  • Publication number: 20240350109
Abstract: System (SYS) and related method for imaging support. The system comprises an input interface (IN) for receiving an input image (I1) of a patient acquired by an imaging apparatus (IA). The input image was previously assessed by an image quality assessment module (IQM) and was awarded an image quality, IQ, score. The system's imaging triaging module (TL) retrieves from an image database (DBI) of prior assessed images, a corresponding image (I0) that corresponds to the input image. The corresponding image is a prior image of patient. The imaging triaging module (TL) provides a decision, based on the first IQ score and a second IQ score of the corresponding image (I0), if any, whether or not to acquire a new image (I2) of the patient by the imaging apparatus (IA). The risk of unnecessary retakes can be reduced, thus saving time, dose, and reducing wear-and-tear of the imaging apparatus.
