Abstract: The present invention provides a controller for hydraulic apparatus (100). The controller is configured to determine (310) that an energy return criteria has been met by movement of a first movement component of a first hydraulic actuator. In response thereto, the controller is further configured to select (320) at least one among a plurality of energy control strategies based on at least one operational characteristic of the hydraulic apparatus, and to control (330) the hydraulic apparatus to implement the energy control strategy during movement of the first movable component in such a way as to meet the energy return criteria. The plurality of energy control strategies comprises a first energy control strategy and a second energy control strategy. The at least one operational characteristic of the hydraulic apparatus comprises an indication of an expected energy recovery of one or more of the energy control strategies.

In some examples, the yoga block includes a cavity in each of the two halves for storing a flexible pouch within each of the two halves. In some further examples, the yoga block includes fasteners for securing each flexible pouch within each of the two halves, and hinges configured to be hidden when the two halves of the yoga block are in a closed position.

The server is mediating a telephony call among the two or more end user communication devices where each end user communication device has its own communication link to the server. The server may detect a trigger event from one of the end user communication devices. Upon detecting the trigger event, the server may receive voice input over the communication link from the end user communication device that generated the trigger event. The received voice input may be parsed into one or more voice commands. The server may then cause the one or more voice commands to be executed. In other embodiments, much of the intelligence and processing may be carried out on the end user communication device directly.

Abstract: A method and apparatus for supporting data connectivity with a roaming partner when a communication device is outside a service provider's range of coverage is provided. In one aspect, a user can select and store a roaming partner that is capable of data communication. While roaming, the communication device will display the data-roaming partners that are currently available within the communication range of the device and the user can choose one of these data-roaming partners and store the data-roaming partner information in memory. Upon re-entering the region within communication range of that roaming partner, the device can communicate with the roaming partner of choice rather than the roaming partner ordinarily selected by the device as a default.

Abstract: A network interface device is provided. The network interface device comprises an enclosure having a first portion coupled to a second portion wherein the first portion and second portion have cavities. The network interface device further comprises a removable case having a plate and a base wherein the plate is adapted to be coupled to the base, wherein the case is adapted to be removably disposed in the cavity of the second portion of the enclosure. A network interface circuit is disposed in the case, the network interface circuit is adapted to provide communication to and from a network and to and from at least one customer premise equipment.
