Patent number: 12046964Abstract: A stator for a rotating electric machine includes a laminated core, and an electrically conductive winding including a winding top layer with electrically conductive top bars, and a winding bottom layer with electrically conductive bottom bars. Each groove of a stator segment of the laminated core has arranged therein a top bar and a bottom bar in adjacent relationship. The top and bottom bars protrude out of the grooves. A connecting element connects a free end of a top bar to a free end of a bottom bar of an adjacent stator segment and includes an inclined section to connect two ends of the connecting element. The ends are angled relative to the inclined section. One end of the connecting element is connected to the free end of the bottom bar and the other end of the connecting element is connected to the free end of the top bar.Type: GrantFiled: May 29, 2020Date of Patent: July 23, 2024Assignee: Innomotics GmbHInventors: Ilja Sabelfeld, Matthias Centner

Patent number: 10236748Abstract: An active part of an electric machine includes at least two teeth, each having a magnetically permeable material and protruding from a lateral surface of the active part in a radial direction. Each tooth has an open recess in a plane spanned by a substantially radial direction and a direction substantially along an axis of rotation. A winding groove is arranged between the two teeth substantially along an axis of rotation of the active part for receiving an electrical winding. Arranged at least partially in the open recess is a thermally conductive element having a thermally conductive material with a thermal conductivity which is greater than a thermal conductivity of the magnetically permeable material.Type: GrantFiled: March 12, 2015Date of Patent: March 19, 2019Assignee: Siemens AktiengesellschaftInventors: Marco Festa, Matthias Centner, Ilja Sabelfeld

Patent number: 9917485Abstract: An electric machine has grooves and windings, divided into strands, of electrical conductors. At least one strand has a number s of coils connected in series and arranged in the grooves. Each coil has sub-conductors connected in parallel and arranged in bundles. Each bundle is arranged in a groove at a bundle position relative to a deepest possible bundle position in the groove. The positions of all bundles in all coils define a number b of possible bundle positions of the strand. The bundles are interchanged between the coils such that each bundle is arranged in the grooves at least n times and at most n? times at each possible bundle position, wherein n is the integer quotient in regard to the quotient of the number s and the number b, wherein n?=n if s is divisible by b and n?=n+1 if s is not divisible by b.Type: GrantFiled: June 6, 2013Date of Patent: March 13, 2018Assignee: SIEMENS AKTIENGESELLSCHAFTInventors: Matthias Centner, Patrick Gels, Rüdiger Schäfer, Jörg Waschek
