  • Publication number: 20240346858
Abstract: A method for retrofitting a feature of a vehicle is described, wherein the vehicle is designed for wireless data transmission and is designed for at least one optional feature, wherein the feature can be retrofitted wirelessly. The method comprises the following steps: entering data for identifying a vehicle using an HMI; receiving the data for identifying a vehicle by method of a data processing device and identifying a vehicle in a database; retrieving from the database and outputting via the HMI at least one optionally retrofittable feature of the identified vehicle; selecting at least one feature of the optionally retrofittable features retrieved; acquiring authorization to use the at least one selected feature; transferring data for retrofitting the at least one selected feature to the vehicle; and retrofitting the at least one selected feature during the next commissioning of the vehicle.

  • Publication number: 20210141972
Abstract: A method for generating an image data set for a computer-implemented simulation includes reading kinematic data representative of positions of a light source, velocities of the light source, accelerations of the light source, or a combination thereof. The method further includes displacing the light source according to the kinematic data, acquiring light data of the light source, compiling the light data and the associated kinematic data to form a light data set, and training an artificial neural network using the light data set to generate a supplementary data set. The method includes generating the supplementary data set using the trained artificial neural network, and generating the image data set using a raw image data set according to the computer-implemented simulation and the supplementary data set.
