  • Patent number: 10591033
Abstract: A ball screw nut having a tubular sheet metal body with a thread profile and being optionally encapsulated in plastic. This sheet metal body is formed of a sheet metal part that includes the thread profile and a ball-returning piece inserted therein, which is designed as an additional sheet metal part.
    Type: Grant
    Filed: October 5, 2015
Date of Patent: March 17, 2020
Assignee: SCHAEFFLER TECHNOLOGIES AG & CO. KG
Inventors: Daniel Faber, Benjamin Wubbolt-Gorbatenko, Matthias Dohr, Fritz Kammerer
  • Patent number: 10486273
Abstract: The invention relates to a method for producing a spindle for a ball screw, including the following steps: —introducing, at least in sections, a thread profile into a flat material section, —shaping the material section to a hollow cylindrical case, two lateral edges of the hollow cylindrical case abutting each other and the thread profile being oriented radially outwards, —connecting the two lateral edges of the hollow cylindrical case, and —forming, at least in sections, a supporting structure on a radially inner face of the hollow cylindrical case to finish the spindle. A spindle for a ball screw in hybrid design can thus be manufactured in a simple manner. The spindle can be produced cost-effectively and yet has high wear resistance and excellent mechanical load-bearing capacity as well as light weight. The invention further relates to a spindle manufactured according to the invention, for use in a ball screw.

  • Patent number: 9194470
Abstract: A nut (1, 13, 21, 25) for a planetary roller screw drive is provided. A sleeve (14) which is produced by metal forming is provided, and two rings (16) that lie at a fixed distance with respect to each other in the axial direction are provided in this sleeve. In order to engage planets (3), the one ring (16) has the one groove profile (18), and the other ring (16) has the other groove profile (18).

  • Publication number: 20060283655
Abstract: The invention relates to a machine element which is provided, at least over part of its axial length, with first toothing (2.1) in the form of threads, running on its cylindrical lateral surface, for a threaded drive. This is distinguished in that the threads are produced by means of a continuous shape rolling process in the axial direction, as is known per se, the continuous shape rolling process being used in a partially continuous manner corresponding to the desired axial extent of the threads.

  • Patent number: 6367434
Abstract: The Invention concerns g solenoid valve, more particularly a proportional hydraulic valve which is arranged within a hydraulic system of a device for varying the valve timing of gas exchange valves in an internal combustion engine. The solenoid valve (1) generally comprises an electromagnet (2) having a hollow cylindrical magnet housing (3), at least one coil winding (4) and an armature (5) as Well as a first pole shoe (6) and a second pole shoe (7) and further comprises a valve member (8) having a hollow cylindrical valve housing (9) for receiving a spool valve which is displaceable relative to the valve housing (9) by the armature (5) of the electromagnet (2). According to the invention, the electromagnet (2) and the valve member (8) are connected and fixed radially and axially to each other by force locking and/or positive engagement by the second pole shoe (7) of the electromagnet (2) which is arranged adjacent the valve member (8) and configured as a plug-in lock for the valve housing (9).
