  • Publication number: 20250057079
Abstract: An agricultural work machine comprising a driver assistance system. The driver assistance system is configured to automatically monitor and set work parameters and quality parameters of the agricultural work machine and is assigned a process model comprising performance maps. The optimization method implemented by the driver assistance system is designed as a map control and generates optimized work parameters as manipulated variables. The driver assistance system determines the quality parameters of the agricultural work machine depending on the optimized work parameters. The process model comprises a dynamic non-linear process model in such a way to comprises a static process model component and a dynamic process model component. At least the manipulated variables in the static process model component execute through an optimization step and, in the dynamic process model component, through a control loop structure.

  • Publication number: 20230286383
Abstract: An agricultural work machine and a method for operation an agricultural work machine are disclosed. The agricultural work machine includes a driver’s cab with an interior space spatially partially delimited by a front window and at least one side window, a driver’s seat arranged in the interior space, an input device for entering input by an operator, a visualization system for visualizing information for an operator sitting on the driver’s seat, and a control device which is communication with the visualization system. The control device controls the visualization system in such a way that process information relevant to the selected work process is visualized.

  • Publication number: 20230245444
Abstract: A method, system, and apparatus for an unmanned aerial vehicle (UAV) to autonomously reconstruct overflown terrain and detect safe landing sites. A UAV autonomously acquires on-board pose estimates from an on-board visual-inertial-range odometry method during flight. The on-board pose estimates are utilized as a pose prior and to regain metric scale during three-dimensional (3D) reconstruction. The on-board pose estimates are corrected based on a bundle adjustment approach using previously acquired images. 3D reconstruction is performed based on multiple captured images taken from an on-board camera. Range data from the multiple captured images is fused into a multi-resolution height map. A safe landing site on the terrain is detected based on the multi-resolution height map.
