  • Publication number: 20190226505
Abstract: A hydrostatic actuator for a motor vehicle includes a housing, a piston, and a seal. The piston has a lateral surface and is arranged within the housing in a longitudinally movable manner. The seal is inserted between the lateral surface and the housing in a fluid-tight manner. The seal has a securing region that rests in a statically sealing manner against a one of the housing or the piston, and a sealing lip region. The sealing lip region includes a first sealing lip for dynamically sealing to the other one of the housing or the piston when pressure in an external space is greater than pressure in an internal space, and a second sealing lip for dynamically sealing to the other one of the housing or the piston when pressure in an external space is less than pressure in an internal space.

  • Patent number: 9784256
Abstract: A hydrostatic actuator and an arrangement for attaching it to a receiving component are provided. The hydrostatic actuator has a master cylinder containing a housing and a piston movable axially within the housing which acts on a pressure chamber filled with a pressurizing agent. The piston is driven by a rotary-driven electric motor having a stator and a rotor, by a rolling planetary transmission that converts the rotary drive to an axial motion. In order to be able to produce such a hydrostatic actuator with little need for construction space, cost-effectively and with better quality, a supporting of the rolling planetary transmission is simplified, and the cooling and shielding of an electronic controller and the pressure behavior of the hydrostatic actuator is improved.

  • Patent number: 7448291
Abstract: To improve the safety of automated gearboxes, it is proposed that terminal positions of internal gearshift members and external actuation members be so defined separately from each other that one can recognize whether the engagement of a speed is accompanied by the attainment of a terminal position of an internal gearshift member or an external actuation member. Error analysis is possible in this way. For dual clutch gears, it is additionally proposed that one can, at least in gearshift operations that are critical in terms of safety, disengage on speed of a subgear in a separate procedure, before a new speed of this subgear can be engaged.

  • Publication number: 20080140525
Abstract: A method, a device and a system are proposed for controlling advertising in an information network, in particular the Worldwide Web (WWW), via which several users have access to information. The system has a data-processing device formed as a profiler which allocates a user identity to every user and which evaluates first data which a first device provides and which contains details about his access behaviour to the information, in particular logfile data. The profiler also evaluates for the respective users second data which a second device provides and which contains details about the users' interests in the type of information which is preferably gathered via questionnaires online and/or offline. The profiler supplements the first and/or second data with third data which a third device provides and which contains details about the identity of the respective user. These personal data come from a service provider system such as e.g. the freemail system www.freemail.de.
