Abstract: A laser marking system (200) comprising first and second laser marking heads (201, 202) configured to mark a product (221, 222). The laser marking system comprises a first controller (231) associated with the first laser marking head (201) and a second controller (232) associated with the second laser marking head (202). The first and second controllers (231, 232) are configurable to receive data (205) indicating information to be marked on the product (221, 222), generate laser marking vectors based upon the received data, and control their associated laser marking head (201, 202) based on the laser marking vectors.

Abstract: An electromagnetic radiation system (100) for directing an electromagnetic radiation beam at a target (130). The electromagnetic radiation system comprises an electromagnetic radiation source (110) for providing the electromagnetic radiation beam, a head (120) for projecting the electromagnetic radiation beam on to the target (130); and an umbilical assembly (140) connecting the electromagnetic radiation source (110) to the head (120) and configured to transmit the electromagnetic radiation beam to the head. The electromagnetic radiation system further comprises an optical isolator (150) positioned between the electromagnetic radiation source (110) and the umbilical assembly (140).
