  • Patent number: 8440132
Abstract: The invention relates to a method for the production of hollow bodies from thermoplastic plastic. The method comprises the extrusion of at least two sheet-like preforms consisting of thermoplastic plastic, the introduction of the preforms into a preferably multipart molding die with a molding cavity which at least partially defines the contour of the hollow body to be manufactured, and the shaping of the preforms inside the die, using a vacuum and/or gas pressure in the first heat of the material. The method is distinguished in that at least two preforms to be shaped into a hollow body and to be connected are extruded successively, that is to say sequentially, in time and are shaped simultaneously.

  • Patent number: 8419993
Abstract: The invention relates to an extrusion blow molding machine (1) with at least one extrusion head (2) and with at least two sheet dies (3), arranged next to one another, for the extrusion of sheet-like plastic preforms (4), with a multipart molding die (5) for processing two preforms into an essentially closed hollow body, having a device for handling the preforms (4). The device for handling the preforms comprises at least two grippers (10), arranged next to one another on a common carrier (8), for receiving the preforms (4), the distance between the grippers (10) being variable.

  • Publication number: 20090288792
Abstract: A method produces pressed products from fiber-containing raw materials such as wood, straw, peat or suchlike, which are also referred to as secondary raw materials. In order to produce well pressed products, fiber-containing raw materials are mixed with water, vapor and, if need be, further additives while heating the raw materials and additives, the mixture being held at high temperature for a lengthy period of time before pressing.

  • Patent number: 6497945
Abstract: The present invention relates to a foamlike mineral building and structural material based on a substantially uniformly foamed alkali-silicate and/or ammonium-silicate matrix encompassing an open and/or closed porous structure. In addition, the present invention relates to a method of producing a foamlike mineral building and structural material comprising the following steps: adjusting the water content of the alkali-silicate and/or ammonium-silicate starting material to a specific value, and foaming the pretreated alkali-silicate and/or ammonium-silicate material, and to an apparatus for carrying out the method which comprises: a conditioner for adjusting the water content of the alkali-silicate and/or ammonium-silicate starting material and a heating means for the foaming step.

  • Publication number: 20020114941
Abstract: The present invention relates to lightweight materials which contain lightweight granules, in particular mineral foam granules, and an organic binder, the volume amount of the lightweight granules in the material being at least 50%, and that the components are bound in the material in a structurally dense manner. Furthermore, the invention relates to a method for the production thereof by the following steps: introducing the lightweight granules into a workpiece mold, optionally heating the grain feed of lightweight granules, introducing the binder into the workpiece mold filled with the lightweight granular bulk material, solidifying the binder, and to a composite material containing a core of the lightweight material according to the invention and a surface surrounding the core completely or in part and consisting of steel, stainless steel, fiber laminates or plastics.
