    Abstract: A device for controlling the temperature of a gas-sorption measuring cell includes a vessel for a cooling medium and a measuring apparatus. The measuring apparatus has a temperature-controlling element with an opening for receiving the measuring cell and has further a cooling device for controlling the temperature of the temperature-controlling element, which contact each other in the direction of a longitudinal axis for heat transfer there between. The temperature-controlling element is affixed on a wall of the vessel with a fastening element for heat exchange between the measuring apparatus and the cooling medium. Arranged between the temperature-controlling element and the cooling device is a thermoelectric cooling element for cooling the temperature-controlling element and the measuring cell. A method for operating the device for controlling the temperature of the measuring cell is also disclosed.

The method includes generating negative pressure in the interstice between the base and the cover so the ambient pressure pushes the cover against the base, the structure being clamped between the cover and the base; heating the composite structure by electromagnetic radiation preferably at least into the range of the melting temperature of the at least one polymer in a heating station, cooling the composite structure in a cooling station of the conveying device; and removing the consolidated structure from the base or removing the base onto which the structure has been placed.

The present invention has the advantage that using the same seal, which seals the tool parts in relation to the ambient air pressure thereof, the cavity may both be evacuated via the opening to the vacuum connection and also the evacuated cavity may be sealed in relation to the opening to the vacuum connection as needed.

Different filling pressures can be established in the storage bottles. A hydraulic accumulator can be adjusted to three operating modes, allowing a press controller to automatically analyze utilization and accordingly block individual groups or compartments of storage bottles, transfer the gas between storage bottles during a charging process at the end of the cycle, or adjust individual groups of storage bottles to different pressure levels. Advantageously, these three scenarios entail no waiting or transfer time.
