  • Publication number: 20070000159
Abstract: An iron comprising a sole plate and a heating body (2) provided with a heating element (201), wherein the heating body (2) includes a first steam chamber (210) used for ordinary ironing, and a second steam chamber (220) used to provide extra steam when the iron is in a horizontal position, or a steam jet when the iron is in a vertical position, and liquid is supplied to said second steam chamber (220) by means of a pump manually operated by the user and combined with a steam circuit (223) ending in a set of vapour outlets in the sole plate, characterised in that when the iron is held in a vertical position, the second steam chamber (220) operates as a boiler-type steam generator, and in that when the iron is in said vertical position, the shape of the second steam chamber (220) is such that the liquid injected by the pump can be retained prior to vaporisation.

  • Patent number: 7069672
Abstract: A shoe with a foot-massaging effect comprises a sole, optionally with a heel, and a top material. A cushion containing a massage element and/or active medical agents is provided in the interior of the shoe, above the sole, said cushion has a flexible base panel on the bottom, corresponding to the shape of the sole, and an elastic protective nonwoven fabric on the top, the latter being permanently connected to said base panel. A toe cap containing active medical agents can also be provided in the tip of the shoe. These measures result in a fairly significant foot-massaging effect and at the same time, enable the show to be used without creating an odor.

  • Patent number: 6973780
Abstract: The invention relates to a controller for a hydraulic press, comprising a pressing cylinder (1), a reservoir (2), a valve group (3), a pressure medium reservoir (7) and a hydraulic pump (6), connected together by means of a cylinder line (4), a reservoir line (5) and a tank line (8). According to the invention, a pressure converter (9) is arranged on the valve group (3), which may operate as a pressure amplifier or pressure reducer. The particular mode of action of said controller is achieved whereby the valve group (3) comprises a pre-press valve (11), a low-pressure chamber outlet valve (12), a low-pressure chamber inlet valve (13), a main press valve (14), a closing valve (15), a pressure release valve (16) and a 3-way valve (17), which may be operated by a particular control sequence. Said invention is applicable in hydraulic presses and of particular advantage in presses for the forming of ceramic pieces such as tiles.

  • Patent number: 6807755
Abstract: The invention relates to an iron. The inventive iron consists of a liquid container (6) comprising an inlet (7) which is fitted with means of receiving and guiding the liquid through said opening towards the container. Preferably, the aforementioned means comprise a part (9) in the form of a slide valve or chute. Moreover, said means, which pass through the opening, can move in translation between a first open position, whereby the liquid can be introduced, and a second closed position, whereby the means are retracted into the iron in order to close the opening (7).
