  • Patent number: 11693266
Abstract: A glueless optical device includes a housing having a first optical portal and a second optical portal opposite the first optical portal. A first optical component is within the housing adjacent to the first optical portal, and a second optical component is within the housing adjacent to the second optical portal. A central optical component is positioned within the housing between the first optical component and the second optical component. A first holder is configured to mount the first optical component to the housing via a first plate spring, and a second holder is configured to mount the second optical component to the housing via a second plate spring. A construct having a coil spring at least partially wrapped around a cylindrical crystal is configured to pass through a bore hole in the central optical component and mount the central optical component between the first holder and the second holder.

  • Patent number: 11675471
Abstract: A UI for presenting and reviewing a document is optimized based upon the type of computing device being utilized to present the document. One such UI includes a first pane showing a view of the document under review that is sized and formatted for display on a large-format display device. The first pane can also be utilized to emphasize a portion of the document. The UI also includes a second pane that includes indicators for each of the reviewers of the document. The selection of an indicator will cause a portion of the document being reviewed by the corresponding reviewer to be displayed in the first pane. The UI also includes a third pane that includes a scaled image of the document shown in the first pane. Selection of a portion of the scaled image causes the selected portion of the document to be displayed in the first pane.

  • Patent number: 10681863
Abstract: A autonomous mobile green area maintenance robot, includes: a first motor-driven treatment tool, a second motor-driven treatment tool differing from the first treatment tool, and an open protective housing with a lateral rim. The first treatment tool defines a first treatment zone and is arranged within the protective housing such that the first treatment zone is located in a safety zone of the protective housing. The safety zone has a safety distance to the lateral rim. The second treatment tool defines a second treatment zone, wherein the second treatment zone is located at least partially beyond the safety zone. The autonomous mobile green area maintenance robot has an autonomous operation mode, wherein in the autonomous operation mode, a maximum kinetic energy of the second motor-driven treatment tool is smaller than a maximum kinetic energy of the first motor-driven treatment tool.

  • Patent number: 9901028
Abstract: The invention relates to a method for operating a self-propelled lawnmower, which is moved on a surface (20). The surface (20) is surrounded by a border delimitation wire (21) on which electrical signals (16, 116) are transmitted. The transmitted signal (16) is received by at least one receiving coil (17, 18) in the lawnmower (2) and induces a reception signal (EI), which is evaluated in an evaluation unit (19). The evaluation unit (19) emits an output signal to a control unit (13), on the basis of which the control unit (13) controls the direction of travel of the lawnmower (2). In order to guarantee a safe operation of the lawnmower even in range of electromagnetic interference fields, the invention provides that the electrical signal (16, 116) is transmitted with a predetermined pattern (M). The evaluation unit (19) of the lawnmower (2) processes the reception signal (EI) as a pattern, wherein the pattern (M?) of the reception signal (EI) is compared to a predetermined reference pattern (RM).

  • Patent number: 9118612
Abstract: A state client is configured to allow a user to specify a meeting-specific state, such as that the user is running late for a meeting, checked in to the meeting, or unable to attend the meeting. A state service stores data identifying the user's meeting-specific state. The state service also responds to requests for the state of the user. In one implementation, when such a request is received, the state service determines whether the user is an invitee to the same meeting as the user requesting the state. If not, the state service returns a general-purpose state indicator for the user. If both users are invitees to the same meeting, the state service returns the meeting-specific state indicator, which may then be displayed by a state client.
