  • Publication number: 20240006097
Abstract: A module (2) for a system (1) for assembling electric cables (19) includes a machine base (5) on which at least one processing station (22) for processing electric cables is mountable, and an asynchronous and pitch-free transport device (7) configured to transport at least one of the electric cables to and/or away from the at least one processing station.

  • Patent number: 6585294
Abstract: A steering spindle (1) has a thin-walled container (5) which is filled by an incompressible flowable material (7). In the event of a crash, the container (5) is opened up by means of a, for example, pyrotechnic device (13). As a result, the flowable material (7) emerges and the container (5) deforms, whereby the forward vehicle intrusion is uncoupled from the behavior of the steering column.

  • Patent number: 6192192
Abstract: A continuous flow heater has an elastic, flexible or rigid pipe (10) which is movably mounted and a heat source (6). When a liquid flowing through the pipe is heated in the pipe interior (1), undesired scale tends to be deposited on the interior of the pipe walls. To prevent or remove this deposit, the pipe (10) is moved and/or deformed by an internal overpressure or by application of external forces, causing the deposits to be detached from the pipe inner walls and carried away by the fluid flow. The overall pipe (10) can have an inner pipe (2), inner insulating layers (3-5), a filament (6) and external insulating layers (7-9).

  • Patent number: 5992298
Abstract: The coffee machine for different coffee types requires no preheating time and consumes no energy in the standby mode. It essentially comprises a water supply chamber (1), a pump (5), a continuous flow heater (8) for heating the water and a brewing chamber (10) for receiving the coffee (10'). The continuous flow heater (8) has a low heat capacity and can therefore perform large temperature changes within a short time. In order to obtain the desired water starting temperature, use is made of a control loop. The unheated parts (9-12) along the water path between the continuous flow heater (8) and the coffee (10') are so designed that a minimum amount of heat energy is abstracted from the hot water, but at the same time the parts have an adequate strength.

  • Patent number: 5771209
Abstract: The wrist watch according to the invention has a strap or bracelet (8) and a case, formed from three case parts (upper part or cover glass 5, middle part or dial, lower part or bottom 3) and in which is placed a clockwork with time indicating means, particularly hands, and has standardized connecting areas (9) in which the bracelet (8) and at least two of the case parts are interconnected or interconnectable. The connecting areas (9) are e.g. constructed as hinges and during assembly serve as orientation aids for the orientation of the individual parts with one another and as application and orientation points for the orientation and assembly tools, as well as as definitive or temporary connections between the case parts and the bracelet. Shape-differing watch models having the same, standardized connecting areas, can be assembled using a substantially identical assembly procedure and tools, which leads to a faster model change procedure.

  • Patent number: 5632440
Abstract: A combination of a container and a plug-in closure unit, and a method of manufacturing the container of the combination. The container has a wall having an opening therein defining an edge. The closure unit can be inserted into the opening, and further comprises a closure part including an opening lip defining an opening lip region, and a hinge disposed opposite the opening lip of the closure part and defining a hinge region. The closure unit also includes a pouring part connected to the closure part by the hinge. The pouring part includes a neck which can be inserted into the opening of the container, and a pouring opening. The pouring part further includes an inner retaining member extending beyond the edge of the opening on the interior of the container when the closure unit is inserted into the opening thereby defining an inner retaining plane C.
