  • Publication number: 20250162243
Abstract: The present invention relates to a device for manufacturing components layer by layer by locally selective solidification of material powder in a process area by electromagnetic radiation or particle radiation. The device comprises a powder supply for supplying powder P to the process area. The powder supply comprises a powder conduit which is connected to a funnel section 1, and at least one controllable shut-off valve V1, V2 which is arranged downstream of the funnel section 1 in a powder flow direction R. The device enables inline determination of the pourability characteristics of the powder that is actually used.
