  • Patent number: 11658571
Abstract: Techniques are described that can solve the problem of being low power while running a device on battery and alternatively running on the output of a switching regulator. In a low power mode, a voltage regulator circuit can be powered down and a switch can connect an input voltage of the regulator, e.g., a battery, to the CPU. In addition, internal and/or external loads, such as voltage feedback resistors, can be disconnected in order to further reduce the power consumption. If the device is going into operation, the CPU can be disconnected from the input voltage of the regulator, e.g., the battery, and switched to the output of the regulator. This can ensure that the circuit consumes very little power consumption in standby mode.

  • Patent number: 10472810
Abstract: An inflow fitting for the filling of a cistern comprises a housing, an outlet pipe, and a water passage formed in the housing and outlet pipe and having an entry and an exit, a float-controlled valve, which is disposed in the water passage and which shuts off the water passage or opens it up in the filling operation, and a float, which cooperates with the valve, for controlling the valve, wherein the float has a cavity that is fillable with water, and at least one buoyancy chamber. The inflow fitting further comprises a supplemental water tap, branched off from the water passage, for filling the said cavity in order to provide an additional weight. In the water passage, in the region of the supplemental water tap, is arranged at least one backflow element, with which a backflow can be provided in the region of the supplemental water tap for the pressure-independent removal of supplemental water.

  • Publication number: 20100315821
Abstract: The invention relates to a diffuser attachment (1) for a portable lamp, in particular helmet lamp (9), comprising a transparent or translucent housing (2) whose first end (3) is closed by a cap (8) and has a reflector element (7) in the form of a diffuser mirror and whose second end forms a base region (6) which is adapted to the outer shape of the lamp (9) in order to permit reversible fixing of the diffuser attachment to the lamp, the reflector element (7) of the light source (13) being opposite and the distance between reflector element (7) and light source (13) being at least 1 cm, in particular 1 to 20 cm and typically 5 to 10 cm when the diffuser attachment is fixed. For removable mounting, the diffuser attachment can be connected to the lamp via a fast-action coupling mechanism, in particular via a snap, clamp, screw or bayonet coupling.
