  • Patent number: 11679737
Abstract: Disclosed is an access device of a vehicle having an on-vehicle control device configured to transmit enquiry signals to a mobile identification transmitter to determine the state of motion thereof, and adapt the transmission of the enquiry signals for a response signal received from the mobile identification transmitter containing the state of motion of the mobile identification transmitter, or on the basis of the absence of the response signal. Energy is saved in the event of a response signal containing a communicated stationary state of the mobile identification transmitter or in the absence of a response signal by reducing the frequency of the transmission of the enquiry signals.

  • Patent number: 11120653
Abstract: An access apparatus (ZV) for a vehicle (FZ) has a vehicle-side position-determining device (PBE) for determining the position (POS1, POS2, POS3) of a mobile identification signal generator (IDG) with respect to the vehicle. In addition, said access apparatus (ZV) has a vehicle-side control device (STE) for emitting location-determining signals (LS1) to the mobile identification signal generator (IDG) for determining the position thereof. In this context, the vehicle-side control device (STE) is configured to control the frequency of the emission of the location-determining signals as a function of the position of the mobile identification signal generator with respect to the vehicle. In this way, the power consumption both in the vehicle and in the identification signal generator can be reduced on the basis of the location-dependent adaptation of the emission of the interrogation signals, without adversely affecting reliable operation of the access apparatus.

  • Publication number: 20190176759
Abstract: An apparatus for automatically opening or closing an object, wherein the apparatus has a control device and an electronic key, and wherein the control device is arranged in the object and is designed to check an authorization of an electronic key. The electronic key has at least one motion sensor which is designed to determine the movement of the electronic key, and the apparatus is designed to automatically open or close a door or flap of the object if the authorization of the electronic key has been determined and the electronic key has not moved for at least a first period.

  • Patent number: 8461974
Abstract: An electric circuit for controlling the access and immobilizing a vehicle has a first antenna driver (12) for driving a first antenna (19) for emitting a signal (100) in the event of identification of an ID transmitter (3) for access control of a vehicle. A second antenna driver (24) is provided for driving a second antenna (21) for emitting a signal (104) in the event of identification of an ID transmitter (3) for the immobilizer of the vehicle. In addition, the electric circuit has a receiver device (14) for receiving a signal captured by an antenna (21) for the identification of an ID transmitter (3) for the immobilizer. The first antenna driver (12) and the receiver device (14) are commonly integrated into a semiconductor chip (1).

  • Patent number: 8050848
Abstract: A method and system for igniting a lean fuel mixture in a main chamber of an internal combustion engine by igniting a rich air-fuel mixture in a pre-combustion chamber which is fuelled using a controlled valve. For a stable and consistent ignition of the main chamber and simultaneous reduction of emission of the internal combustion engine, a closed loop control adjusts the fuel amount and the fuelling time for the pre-combustion chamber in order to achieve a light off in an optimal time window and by sufficient ignition energy.

  • Publication number: 20110084816
Abstract: Through a microcontroller, control signals are transferred to a transmitting and receiving unit or configuration data are transferred. Through the transmitting and receiving unit, in a first operating state transmission signals are issued, while controlling the control signals of the microcontroller. Upon a first specified event, the transmitting and receiving unit is switched to a second operating state through a one-time transfer of corresponding configuration data by the microcontroller. In the second operating state, the transmitting and receiving unit automatically transmits repeated transmission signals. The microcontroller immediately switches to a current-saving or non-current, inactive operating state after said microcontroller has switched the transmitting and receiving unit to the second operating state.

  • Patent number: 6545634
Abstract: A method for detecting and correcting non-linearities in radio-frequency, voltage controlled oscillators provides for digitization of the frequency signal by feeding the undelayed frequency signal and a delayed frequency signal generated therefrom into EXOR gates. The digital pulses produced thereform are converted using a low pass filter into a proportional DC voltage value which is proportional to the oscillator frequency and is used as a basis for producing a correction value for the frequency control of the oscillator.
