  • Publication number: 20140326913
Abstract: Arrangement for actuating shut-off valve with tapered plug, has housing in which hollow actuating cylinder is coaxially supported for rotation and with an actuating shaft aligned with the coaxial axis firmly attached. Output cylinder is coaxially arranged in hollow actuating cylinder. The output cylinder is movable relative to hollow drive cylinder axially and radially. Spindle is attached on output cylinder opposite actuating shaft and aligned with coaxial axis; tapered plug being fastened on end of spindle facing away from output cylinder. At least one radially outwardly directed pin is arranged on outer peripheral surface of output cylinder. Outer surfaces of housing and hollow actuating cylinder have each at least one guideway extending over radial sector of outer surfaces, with which pin is operatively connected as a respective sliding block. At least the guideway arranged in outer surface of hollow actuating cylinder is formed as a through-opening through which pin passes.

  • Publication number: 20130195555
Abstract: Capturing and conducting away fluids or gases escaping from a bed of water. Modules of identical design forming a hose system. Each module has a hose wall made of a flexible woven fabric. A flange is arranged at the open ends of each module surrounding the opening. Each module has stabilizing rings around the periphery, arranged in the longitudinal direction of the module at a distance (a) from each other, which is smaller than the diameter (D) of the module. A pressure equalization opening is formed in each module forming a hose section, each module has connectors for fastening buoyant/ballast bodies and the individual modules are joined, forming a hose system such that connectors for fastening buoyant/ballast bodies are located where two modules meet. At least one pressure equalization opening is located at the lower, open end of the hose system facing the bed of the body of water.

  • Publication number: 20100187717
Abstract: The invention relates to a method for producing a wood-plastic composite material, by which means the composite material is provided with a pre-determined color and pre-determined material characteristics during the course of the method. The method according to the invention is characterized by the drying and treatment of the wood chips using chromophore substances and/or active substances in a fluidized bed appliance during one of the method steps preceding the extrusion. Following the treatment, sorted wood chips can be removed from the fluidized bed within a pre-selected dimension spectrum and extruded with plastic in the subsequent method step.

  • Publication number: 20090246354
Abstract: The invention relates to a method and an apparatus for melting sugar, referred to in the following as solid matter. The apparatus includes at least one melting tube (1) configured as a direct heat exchanger for melting the solid matter with an inlet (2) for the solid, an outlet (3) for the liquid produced by melting the solid matter through a phase transition, an inlet (4) for a heat exchange fluid, and an outlet (5) for the heat exchange fluid. The heat exchange fluid and the solid matter are in direct contact with one another inside the melting tube (1) for the purpose of heat exchange.
