Publication number: 20220117818Abstract: A mobile operating table column comprising a base and a stability system for ensuring that the base rests securely on an uneven surface, wherein the stability system comprises: four retractable and extendable upright support elements arranged at four different corners of the base, as well as support surfaces and an actuator for retracting and extending each of the four upright support elements. Each upright support element is associated with a support surface and can be retracted and extended relative to the latter. Moreover, the stability system may assume at least two different operating states: i) a parked state, in which the base rests on the floor with at least three of the support surfaces and the upright support elements are retracted; and ii) a fixed stationary state, in which the base rests on the surface with at least three of the support surfaces and the support elements are extended such that they are in contact with the surface and thereby ensure that the base rests securely on the floor.Type: ApplicationFiled: September 26, 2019Publication date: April 21, 2022Inventors: MIKE OBERT, MARTIN STAUDINGER, JAN DONAT OLSZEWSKI, MATTHIAS KOBUSS, MATTHIEU HIRSCHEL

Patent number: 10002529Abstract: An operating table system is disclosed. The operating table system has a first transmitting-receiving device that is mountable to a transport device, a second transmitting-receiving device that is mountable to an operating table column, and a coupling device that couples a patient support and the operating table column. The first transmitting-receiving device is configured to transmit a request command and a transfer command to the second transmitting-receiving device. The second transmitting-receiving device is configured to transmit a device address to the first transmitting-receiving device. The coupling device is actuated based on the second transmitting-receiving device receiving the request command and the transfer command and the first transmitting-receiving device receiving the device address.Type: GrantFiled: November 11, 2015Date of Patent: June 19, 2018Assignee: MAQUET GMBHInventors: Juergen Ruch, Markus Buerstner, Winfried Boeske, Dorothee Rathmann, Sebastian Schmoll, Matthias Kobuss, Bapio Bamouni, Heiko Kottmann

Patent number: 9409753Abstract: A transport carriage for transport of a patient support and/or an operating table column of an operating table includes a chassis which is connectable with the patient support and/or with the operating table column of the operating table. The chassis includes a first longitudinal beam and a second longitudinal beam arranged at a distance thereto. The first and second longitudinal beams form a fork-shaped opening. At least one castor which is pivotable about a swiveling axis is arranged at the longitudinal beams. The transport carriage includes at least one delimiting unit for delimiting the swiveling movement of at least one of the castors about its swiveling axis. The delimiting unit in a disabled first operational state does not delimit the swiveling movement of the at least one castor. In an enabled second operational state, the delimiting unit does delimit the swiveling movement of the castor.Type: GrantFiled: November 5, 2013Date of Patent: August 9, 2016Assignee: MAQUET GMBHInventor: Matthias Kobuss
