  • Patent number: 8316471
Abstract: The invention relates to a dispensing device for dispensing active ingredient fluids to the flushing liquid in a toilet bowl. Said dispensing device comprises at least two holders (6, 7) for accommodating respective reservoirs (2, 3), every reservoir (2, 3) having its own outlet opening via which the respective active ingredient fluid (4, 5) can be dispensed to the flushing liquid or to the surroundings of the dispensing device and the reservoirs (2, 3) being protected from flushing liquid entering their interior. At least one outlet opening of the reservoirs (2, 3) is arranged on the bottom when in the working position and a partial amount of the active ingredient fluid is dispensed to the flushing liquid from at least one of the reservoirs (2, 3) during flushing. The interior of at least one of the reservoirs (2, 3) communicates with a distribution element (9, 10) via the outlet opening, an arrangement preventing the free flow of the active ingredient fluid (4, 5) being interposed.

  • Publication number: 20100041574
Abstract: The invention relates to the use of a product for treating hard surfaces. The product comprises compounds of general formula I or II and polymers that are obtainable by reacting the compounds with polymeric substrates, the substrates having functional groups that are selected from hydroxy groups, primary and secondary amino groups. The treated surface is protected from soiling and/or soil release from the surface is facilitated.

  • Publication number: 20090194562
Abstract: A metering apparatus for flowable preparations includes a metering unit having an energy source, a control unit and a sensor unit. A container for a first flowable preparation, such as a detergent, cleaning agent, or fragrance, is removably couplable to the metering unit. A micropump that has a specific delivery quantity of less than 500 l/min is provided in the metering unit. The micropump can be controlled by the control unit to dispense flowable product from the container into a desired system external to the metering apparatus, such as a dishwasher, washing machine, toilet, air freshening system, and the like.
