  • Patent number: 11629761
Abstract: A universal joint shaft with universal joint shaft protection comprises at least one shaft element for transmitting torque, at least one protective tube element arranged around the shaft element, and an intermediate bearing, by means of which the shaft element is rotatably mounted about an axis of rotation (L) in the protective tube element, wherein the intermediate bearing comprises an outer ring fixed to the protective tube element and an inner ring fixed to the shaft element, which are rotatable relative to each other, and a clamping mechanism by means of which the inner ring is fixed on the shaft element.

  • Publication number: 20230013228
Abstract: A centered double universal joint comprises a housing having a first inner joint fork and a second inner joint fork, a first outer joint fork hingedly connected to the first inner joint fork via a first trunnion cross, a second outer joint fork hingedly connected to the second inner joint fork via a second trunnion cross, an annular recess in the housing disposed about a longitudinal axis of the housing, a guide disc that is guided in a radially adjustable manner in the annular recess of the housing, the two outer joint forks being coupled in an articulated manner to the guide disc, and two floating discs arranged in the axial direction on both sides of the guide disc in the annular recess, wherein the housing, the floating discs or the guide disc is/are magnetized, exerting a magnetic force on the floating discs in the direction of the longitudinal axis.

  • Patent number: 10844914
Abstract: A torque limiting coupling is arranged rotatably around a longitudinal axis. The torque coupling comprises at least one locking element that is displaceable between a locking position and an unlocking position and that is biased towards the locking position. The locking element is transferable into the locking position in the decoupling position of a switching disc, in which locking position the locking element is supported in a circumferential direction on a coupling hub and on the switching disc, and in which the switching disc is locked against rotation relative to the coupling hub. The at least one locking element is further transferable into the locking position when the switching disc is in its coupling position wherein, in the locking position, the locking element is supported in a circumferential direction on the coupling hub and the switching disc, and the switching disc is locked against rotation relative to the coupling hub.

  • Patent number: 10309466
Abstract: A protective device for a universal shaft (3) has an attachment element (6), a tubular protective guard (7) and a latching device (24, 25). The attachment (6) is positioned around a shaft journal (2) projecting from a housing (1) and is attached to said housing (1). The tubular protective guard (7) extends along a longitudinal axis L and is positioned around a universal shaft (3) connected to the shaft journal (2). The latching device has at least one latching element (24) and at least one latching projection (25). The latching element (24) is arranged on either the attachment element (6) or the protective guard. The latching projection (25) is arranged on either the protective guard (7) or the attachment element (6). The latching element (24) is displaceable between a latched position and a release position. The latching element (24) is elastically formed and engages, in the latched position, behind the latching projection (25).
