  • Patent number: 9465017
Abstract: A method and a device for preparing a qualitative and quantitative analysis of samples are presented. The device affords the possibility of delimiting and isolating a specific region of a solid or liquid sample. A liquid, e.g. a solvent or extracting agent, is added in the delimited and isolated region. Thereafter the created mixture of substance and liquid is, in a plug-shaped fashion, pressed out of the closed region by means of a neutral liquid or the same liquid, and supplied to the measuring instrument in the form of a highly concentrated solution.

Date of Patent: October 11, 2016
    Assignee: CAMAG
    Inventors: Matthias Loppacher, Eike Reich
  • Patent number: 9383377
Abstract: A fully automatic extraction and analysis system for biologically active samples significantly simplifies the analysis of, for example, DMS samples and has significant advantages over the manual technology and the partially automated technology (punching out). The described extraction system is the first economical alternative to conventional blood analysis and supports the spread of said time-, cost-, and animal-saving technology in pharmacology and toxicology.
    Type: Grant
    Filed: November 21, 2011
Date of Patent: July 5, 2016
    Assignee: CAMAG
Inventors: Matthias Loppacher, Manuel Altmeyer, Christoph Fankhauser, Urs Schranz

  • Patent number: 7394171
Abstract: A integrated flue support construction (2) for a Marx impulse voltage generator (2) with several generator stages (3) is disclosed. It has been known to arrange a flue (2) for flushing the air of switching spark gaps (4) separately from a support frame for the switching spark gaps (4), the impulse capacitors (5) and series and parallel resistors (7, 8). According to the invention, the flue (2) has a supporting function for the switching spark gaps (4) and individual or all electrical components (5-10) of the impulse circuit. In one embodiment the flue (2) consists of a triangular cylinder support structure (2), wherein the side walls (11) are formed by insulating plates (11), each receiving one of the electrical components, namely the switching spark gap (4), impulse capacitor (5) and resistors (7, 8).

Abstract: The invention relates to an integrated flue-support construction (2) for a Marx generator (1) comprising several generator stages (3). According to the prior art, a flue (2) for purifying the air of switching spark gaps (4) is arranged separately from a support structure for the switching spark gaps (4), impulse capacitors (5) and series and parallel resistors (7, 8). According to the invention, the flue (2) adopts a supporting function for the switching spark gap (4) and individual or all electrical components (5-10) of the impulse wave switching circuit. According to one form of embodiment the flue (2) consists of a triangular cylinder support construction (2), the side walls (11) being formed from insulating panels (11) and each receiving one of the electrical components: a switching spark gap (4), an impulse capacitor (5) and resistors (7, 8).
