  • Publication number: 20190100948
Abstract: A method for producing a handle apparatus includes providing an elongate handle base body which has a central receiving space in which electronic components are arranged, applying a sealing joint around the central receiving space and attaching a handle cover to the elongate handle base body. When the handle cover is attached, the sealing joint is compressed so that the central receiving space is sealed via the sealing joint. An inlet opening and an outlet opening are formed on opposite ends of the central receiving space. The handle apparatus is oriented vertically and filled with a liquid sealing compound via the inlet opening, wherein gases which are present in the central receiving space are discharged via the outlet opening. A corresponding handle apparatus is also disclosed.

  • Publication number: 20180066459
Abstract: A door handle assembly for a motor vehicle includes a handle carrier mounted on the vehicle and a grip part rotatably mounted on the handle carrier. The grip part opens a door or flap of the motor vehicle. A coupling device is rotatably mounted on the handle carrier for transmitting an actuation of the grip part to a locking arrangement on the vehicle. A joint element pivotably interconnects the coupling device and the grip part. The joint element movably supports an actuating member which is moved by rotation translationally between mounting and operating positions. In the operating position, the actuating member is pivotably mounted on the coupling device and is in engagement with the grip part. In the mounting position, the actuating member bears against a blocking surface of the coupling device that blocks rotation of the actuating member and is out of engagement with the grip part.

  • Patent number: 9745774
Abstract: A lock cylinder includes a housing, in which a sleeve having a cylinder core accommodated therein is rotatably supported. The cylinder core has spring-loaded tumblers forming a form closure with recesses arranged in the sleeve when a key engaging the tumblers is removed. Inside the housing, the sleeve is coupled to a coupling element by means of a disengaging sleeve. The coupling element is supported inside the housing and connected to a bearing in a rotationally-fixed manner. The bearing supports an output element. At least one of the sleeve and the coupling element forms a form closure with the bearing to block the rotation of the output element if an improper object is used in operative connection with the cylinder core.

  • Publication number: 20070006623
Abstract: The cylinder lock is comprised of a cylinder housing (10.1) and of a cylinder core (20.1), which is mounted therein and which accommodates spring-loaded plate-shaped tumblers (31.1) that can be longitudinal placed therein. The plate longitudinal edges (30.1, 30.2) of the tumblers are then guided on guiding surfaces (21.1, 22.1) inside the cylinder core (20.1). The tumblers (31.1) have control edges (41.1) placed at defined heights (45). The aim of the invention is to render the cylinder lock not only burglar-proof, but to also ensure a reliable protection against the loss of tumblers. To this end, the invention firstly provides that a cam (36.1) having a least one pair of flanks (37.1, 38.1) is placed either on one plate longitudinal edge (30.1) of the tumblers (31.1) or on the guiding surface in the cylinder core facing said plate longitudinal edge. The invention also provides that a cutout (26.1) is made either on the cylinder core (20.1) next to its cavity (23.1) for tumbler (31.

  • Patent number: 6834901
Abstract: A handle fitting for a vehicle door has a support attached to the inner side of the door. A turret member provided on the support projects with a turret end inwardly and a slide secures the turret end on the support. A screw is arranged in the slide and moves the slide between mounting and locking positions. In the mounting position the turret member is inserted into the support; in the looking position the turret member is secured on the support. The inner screw end is located outside of a turret member recess in the mounting position. When the screw moves the slide into the locking position, a stop of the screw is supported on the support. In the locking position, the recess receives the inner end of the screw so that the screw acts as a locking bar moved into the turret member.
