  • Publication number: 20230107249
Abstract: A heating device comprises a tubular carrier with an outside and an inside, an insulating layer on the outside of the carrier, heating conductors, conductor tracks, and contact fields on the insulating layer, and a connection device for an electrical connection of the heating device, wherein the connection device has a plurality of metallic contact feet. The connection device is attached at the contact fields with the contact feet and is electrically connected thereto. Additional electrical insulation is arranged between the connection device and the outside of the carrier. • Publication number: 20230091878
Abstract: A heating device for a hob has a flat carrier having a heating conductor side with heating conductors thereon and a switching device, the switching device having a movable switching contact and a mating contact associated therewith. The switching device has a switching arm movable in itself, said switching arm carries the switching contact and is electrically connected to an electric arm connecting means. The switching arm is fastened on the carrier and is formed from a bimetal strip. The mating contact is electrically connected to an electric mating connection means and fastened on the carrier. Switching arm, switching contact and mating contact are designed and arranged such that when a pre-defined switching temperature is exceeded, the switching contact and the mating contact are brought together, triggering a switching operation as a hot indicator for the hob, by the movement of the switching arm due to increasing heat.

  • Publication number: 20220386420
Abstract: The invention relates to a heating device having a flat expanded support and at least one heating conductor assembly thereon which is electrically connected by means of two connection contacts. The heating conductor assembly has a plurality of heating conductors which are connected together at connection points and are wired as a whole so as to form parallel and series circuits between the connection contacts. The plurality of heating conductors are advantageously designed as a lattice, wherein every set of four heating conductors forms a closed mesh, and four heating conductors are connected together at the connection points. The heating conductor assembly is applied onto the support with a film construction in a film method, advantageously a thick-film method.

Abstract: A cooking appliance has a cooking plate for the direct preparation of food products thereon and has a heating device thereunder, wherein the heating device runs parallel to the cooking plate and bears at least partially against the bottom side of the cooking plate. The heating device has a flat carrier disc running parallel to the cooking plate, on the bottom side and top side of which carrier disc there are arranged in each case heating means which in each case substantially cover the carrier disc. Both heating means have in each case a multiplicity of heating conductors to cover the bottom side and top side of the carrier disc. The carrier disc may be composed of micanite, and the heating conductors may be thick-film heating conductors.

  • Publication number: 20170347399
Abstract: A heating device including a support and at least one heating element group on the support has at least one heating element on the support and two connection contacts for the heating element group. The two connection contacts are electrically disconnected from one another and make electrical contact with the single heating element or all of the heating elements of the heating element group for connection to a current supply or as a power connection. An effective width of all of the heating elements within a common heating element group is greater than an effective length of the single heating element or all of the heating elements of this common heating element group between the two connection contacts.

  • Publication number: 20170181226
Abstract: A heating device has a support and a sheet-like electrical conductor, which is arranged on the support and runs between a first terminal and a second terminal, the at least one heating conductor including carbon-based material as heating conductor material. A heating conductor thickness between the electrical terminals may at least partially vary and not be constant for the adaptation of a local heating output. In addition, the heating conductor may be either rectangular and short or in the form of a circular ring.

  • Publication number: 20170086257
Abstract: A heating device for heating water has a carrier to which at least one heating element is applied, the heating element having one or more heating conductors which are connected one behind the other. The heating device has a flat dielectric layer which substantially covers the heating conductors or the heating element. An electrically conductive connection area is in each case provided on both sides of the dielectric layer with the same coverage. At least one of the connection areas is connected to a controller for evaluating a leakage current as current flows through the dielectric layer, and the heating element is connected to measuring means for monitoring a heating conductor current through the heating element. Both the leakage current and the heating conductor current are monitored over time and faults can be identified if there are conspicuous changes.

  • Patent number: 6069685
Abstract: A method and apparatus for printing high quality prints from photographic negatives employ a printer with a system that scans the negatives optical densities region by region. Corresponding quantities of light are calculated, the first prints are then printed using these quantities, and thereafter these quantities are stored in a memory to be retrieved at a later time for duplicate prints. To locate the stored values representing the first printing light quantities, the densities employed to calculate the light quantities are associated with those quantities in the memory. The negatives are scanned again when the subsequent prints are to be printed. The measured densities are then compared with the densities stored during the first printing process. If and when the results are similar, the identity of the two negatives is confirmed and the first printing light quantities are obtained from the memory and employed for producing the subsequent prints.

  • Patent number: 5926258
Abstract: A master to be copied has a picture in which a dark region and a light region are located one behind the other. The two regions are separated by a light/dark transition where a halo can develop on copies of the master. Prior to copying, the master is scanned and the resulting data used to produce a mask for the master. The mask has a light/dark transition corresponding to the light/dark transition of the master. However, the light/dark transition of the mask is shifted relative to the light/dark transition of the master. The shift is such that, when the mask is superimposed on the master, the light/dark transition of the mask is superimposed on a region of the master which reduces the visibility of the halo. The master is copied following masking.
