  • Publication number: 20240075607
Abstract: A handheld work apparatus includes a motor, a transmission shaft, a tool, a guide tube, a housing, and a first anti-vibration element. The motor via the transmission shaft drives the tool. The transmission shaft is received in the guide tube. The motor is disposed in the housing. The tool is disposed on a front longitudinal end of the guide tube. The housing is disposed on the rear longitudinal end of the guide tube. The housing at least partially encompasses the guide tube, wherein the guide tube projects from the housing. The first anti-vibration element is disposed such that it acts in a vibration-decoupling manner between the housing and the guide tube. The first anti-vibration element is disposed on that side of the motor facing the tool. The handheld work apparatus includes a second anti-vibration element connecting the motor to the housing in an at least indirectly vibration-decoupled manner.

  • Patent number: 8383569
Abstract: A single phase alkaline composition comprising by weight about 10 to about 25 percent of nonionic surfactant blend comprising a ratio of between about 1:1 to about 1:2 of alcohol ethoxylate:fatty alcohol alkoxylate, about 3-10% of at least one water soluble solvent, about 1-10% of a chelant, 2-12% of an alkalinity source, 0.5-2% of an anionic surfactant blend comprised of at least about 40-70% of a sulfosuccinate, the balance being water. Compositions of the invention are useful for removing hydrophobic soils or oils whether they are located on a hard surface or on a linen. A method of cleaning a hard surface is also disclosed comprising the steps of diluting the composition of the invention with water to about 1 to about 3 weight percent, applying the diluted composition to the surface, and wiping the surface, wherein the surface is substantially free of oil or residue and the surface is substantially free of corrosion.

  • Patent number: 8049780
Abstract: A calibration error correction device for an optical instrument includes a detector operable to detect a position of a focusing lens of an optical instrument along a mechanical path of the focusing lens. A line of sight through an image plane of the optical instrument and the focusing lens at a present position defines an actual viewing direction. The device also includes a memory configured to store viewing direction errors specifying a deviation between a known theoretical viewing direction and the actual viewing direction associated with a plurality of different positions of the focusing lens along the mechanical path and an indicator of at least one value indicative of the actual viewing direction based on the theoretical viewing direction and the viewing direction errors at each of the different positions of the focusing lens along the mechanical path.

  • Publication number: 20100029533
Abstract: Floor finishes are stripped or deep scrubbed using a floor stripper/cleaner composition containing a phenyl-substituted alkyl alcohol, an oxygenated swelling solvent other than the phenyl-substituted alkyl alcohol, water, sufficient coupler so that the composition has a single phase, and sufficient saponification agent comprising the reaction product of a fatty acid or fatty ester with a stoichiometric excess of an alkali metal hydroxide or ammonium hydroxide so that the composition has an alkaline pH and has a reduced oily residue after stripping when compared to an otherwise similar composition that does not contain the saponification agent. The composition is useful for removing ultradurable (e.g., crosslinked) floor finishes, especially on flooring substrates that are susceptible to chemical attack.
