  • Patent number: 8239863
Abstract: An exemplary embodiment of the present invention provides a method of migrating a virtual machine. The method comprises replicating a source storage device corresponding to the virtual machine to a target storage device through replication links. The method also comprises receiving a migration state that indicates initiation of a migration of the virtual machine from a source server to a target server. The method also comprises collecting storage system status information of the source storage device and storing the storage system status information to a persistent store accessible to the target server. The method also comprises sending memory states and central processing unit (CPU) states to the target server through a communications network. The method also comprises performing a failover of the virtual machine from the source server to the target server and from source storage device to target storage device.

  • Publication number: 20110177242
Abstract: Two-part adhesive compositions are described. The two-part adhesives have a first part and a second part, said composition comprising at least one aromatic epoxy resin in the first part; at least one amine curing agent in the second part; and at least one ester in at least one of the first and/or second part. The ester corresponds to the general formula R2—CO—OR1; wherein R1 is an organic moiety comprising at least one of (i) at least one epoxy group or (ii) at least one acryl group and R2 is a branched alkyl group. The structural adhesive may be used to form bonded joints between adherents having clean surfaces, as well as those having surfaces contaminated with hydrocarbon-containing materials, such as oils, processing aids and lubricating agents.

  • Patent number: 7569624
Abstract: The invention concerns an adhesive composition for producing thermoset products, capable of being heated by means of an electric field, a magnetic field, an electromagnetic field or an alternating electromagnetic field, and containing filler particles which are metallic, ferromagnetic, ferrimagnetic, superparamagnetic or paramagnetic. Said adhesive composition can be hardened under the action of heat to form a high-resistance stable adhesive assembly, said resulting adhesive assemblies capable of being likewise dissociated under the action of heat.
