  • Publication number: 20050215391
Abstract: A cone ring transmission, especially for motor vehicles with a front, transverse drive is proposed, having two cones in opposed alignment to one another, rotating on two shafts, the cones being, namely a primary cone and a secondary cone, with an adjustment ring engaging both cones therebetween, the ring contacting one cone and circumferentially encompassing the other cone, with a mechanism to provide ratio adjustment for the adjustment ring, having an arrangement which binds the output drive shaft, i.e. the shaft of the secondary cone with a differential of the motor vehicle and with a start-up element, which binds one of the cones with the motor of the motor vehicle, whereby the torque from the output drive shaft is transmitted to a differential by way of a gear train.

  • Publication number: 20050176534
Abstract: An automatic transmission (1) with a variator (5) and with at least two conical disk sets (2, 3) is described, such that a wrap-around element (4) is guided over the conical disk sets (2, 3) for torque transmission with continuously variable transmission ratio. In this, the arrangement of the rotation axes of two conical disks (3A, 3B) of a conical disk set (3) relative to one another can be changed, in that at least a first conical disk (3B) can be tilted relative to a second conical disk (3A) of the conical disk set (3).

  • Publication number: 20050160850
Abstract: A cone ring transmission having two rotating cones, a primary cone and a secondary cone, disposed opposite each other upon two shafts and one ring surrounding one of the cones which the contact for producing the frictional engagement is, in addition, to torque dependent at least ratio dependent.

  • Publication number: 20050164830
Abstract: A hydraulic gear shift arrangement of an automatic transmission for motor vehicles with a hydraulic pump, which transports a hydraulic fluid having a main or system pressure PSYS in a main pressure line to which a lubricating valve (1) and a fluid cooler (16) are connected via a branch line (2). The fluid cooler (16) has a supply line (14) with a supply pressure PZK, and a return line (17) with a return pressure PVK, and the lubricating valve (1) is connected to both the supply line (14) and the return line (17).

  • Publication number: 20050164825
Abstract: A transmission is proposed having two mutually opposed, rotationally symmetric rotating bodies arranged on two shafts, in particular a conical ring transmission with a primary cone and a secondary cone and with a ring which is engaged with both cones and surrounds one of the cones, in which shafts (5, 6) for the rotationally symmetric bodies or for the primary cone (2) and the secondary cone (3) enclose between them an angle not equal to zero.

  • Publication number: 20050056514
Abstract: The invention concerns a clutch actuation system for a starting clutch (1) of a motor vehicle, with a hydraulic activated piston/cylinder combination (2), which possesses a pressure chamber (5) and a slidable activation piston (4) therein, with a pressure compensation compartment (6) for a dynamic pressure equalization, and which said pressure compensation compartment (6) can be filled with a fluid pressure medium, which, upon a rotation of the piston/cylinder combination (2) exercises a force which counters movement in a closure direction by the activation piston, and has a reset spring (7), which abuts against an inner wall of the pressure compensation compartment (6) and forcefully contacts a proximal surface of the activation piston (4).
