  • Patent number: 8666743
Abstract: The invention provides a speech recognition method for selecting a combination of list elements via a speech input, wherein a first list element of the combination is part of a first set of list elements and a second list element of the combination is part of a second set of list elements, the method comprising the steps of receiving the speech input, comparing each list element of the first set with the speech input to obtain a first candidate list of best matching list elements, processing the second set using the first candidate list to obtain a subset of the second set, comparing each list element of the subset of the second set with the speech input to obtain a second candidate list of best matching list elements, and selecting a combination of list elements using the first and the second candidate list.

  • Publication number: 20130319201
Abstract: A cuffing chain for cutting mineral and metal materials has central chain links and lateral connecting links. The cutting chain has connecting pins with a central section which has a diameter that is greater than the diameter of openings in adjacent connecting links. The cutting chain has two connecting links which have a supporting section instead of a cutting element. At least two second connecting links positioned adjacent to one another at right angles to the direction of travel of the cutting chain are formed separately from one another. As a result, the cutting chain can be opened for maintenance and repairs despite the use of collar studs as connecting pins.

  • Publication number: 20090254342
Abstract: A method for detecting barge-in in a speech dialogue system comprising determining whether a speech prompt is output by the speech dialogue system, and detecting whether speech activity is present in an input signal based on a time-varying sensitivity threshold of a speech activity detector and/or based on speaker information, where the sensitivity threshold is increased if output of a speech prompt is determined and decreased if no output of a speech prompt is determined. If speech activity is detected in the input signal, the speech prompt may be interrupted or faded out. A speech dialogue system configured to detect barge-in is also disclosed.

  • Publication number: 20080072733
Abstract: A saw chain for the guide bar of a power chain saw includes pivotably interconnected drive links, cutting links or connecting links. The cutting link has a cutting tooth and a depth limiter that leads the cutting tooth. The drive link adjacent to the depth limiter is provided with a support protuberance and a support surface that during travel of the saw chain about the end of the guide bar cooperates in a supporting manner with the depth limiter. With the saw chain extended, the support protuberance has a smaller spacing to the cutting tooth than does the depth limiter. During travel of the saw chain about the end of the guide bar, the spacing of the support protuberance to the cutting tooth increases to a reversal spacing that is greater than the spacing of the depth limiter to the cutting tooth. In a side view of the saw chain, the spacing between the cutting tooth and the depth limiter is limited by the support protuberance.

  • Publication number: 20070156405
Abstract: A speech recognition system receives digital data. The system determines whether a memory contains some or all of the digital data. When some or all of the digital data does not exist in the memory, the system generates a transcription of the missing parts and stores the missing portion and a corresponding transcription in the memory.

  • Patent number: 6168656
Abstract: Description of an inkjet ink for application in inkjet printers, comprising (a) a solvent, which contains at least 80% of a homopolar, non-watery solvent, (c) one or several phospholipides. In such inkjet inks, the phospholipides have a stabilizing effect. In some applications it may be beneficial with respect to certain pigments to employ an additional dispersant. The inkjet ink has, with concurrent high dispersing stability, significantly improved de-wetting property, with high optical density and excellent storage stability on a nozzle plate of an inkjet print head.
