  • Publication number: 20060135006
Abstract: A corvette ship-type equipment system includes standard-equipment segments, such as an energy generator, an energy distributor, a drive and an automation segment, and a hull which is adapted to the size and specific requirements on the corvette ship-type equipment system. In order to construct standard equipment-segments for a corvette ship-type equipment system which is technically and constructively simple and economical in terms of cost, at least one of the standard-equipment segments, such as the energy generator and/or the energy distributor and/or the drive and/or the automation segment is constructed from standard units or components which correspond to the requirements of the corvette ship-type equipment system and which are arranged in the hull of the boat and which can be built into the hull of the boat according to the different boat or ship-type equipment systems.

  • Patent number: 7012517
Abstract: A damage control system for monitoring, suppressing and eliminating leakage damage, fire damage and/or ABC contamination after collisions, running aground, the effects of weapons, etc., has an automation and monitoring system for system failures, voltage outages and equipment failures and has an operating station at which a perspective layout of the ship, which represents the rooms of the ship, can be displayed. To obtain a picture of the situation more rapidly after a collision, running aground or the effects of weapons, an alarm unit is installed in each room or in each of a group of rooms of the ship allocated together, these alarms cooperating with the damage control system, so that when deployed, the display of the corresponding room and/or group of rooms allocated together undergoes a color change in the perspective layout of the ship.

  • Publication number: 20050172942
Abstract: A method of regulating an internal combustion engine, in particular involving a lean-burn mode of operation, for achieving predeterminable nitrogen oxide emission values from the internal combustion engine, wherein the ?-value of a fuel-air mixture to be burnt in the internal combustion engine or an equivalent engine parameter in a defined relationship with said ?-value is regulated in dependence on the amount of fuel supplied per unit of time or in dependence on the fuel energy supplied per unit of time (Qzu).

  • Publication number: 20050177300
Abstract: A method of regulating an internal combustion engine, in particular involving a lean-burn mode of operation, for achieving predeterminable nitrogen oxide emission values from the internal combustion engine, wherein the actual value of the ?-value or the calorific value of a fuel-air mixture to be burnt in the internal combustion engine or a nitrogen oxide emission value is detected, preferably directly measured, and is regulated in dependence on a parameter which is characteristic of quality and/or quantity of the fuel supplied or in dependence on the power (P) delivered by the internal combustion engine.

  • Publication number: 20040243859
Abstract: A marine automation support system can be operated from a multimedia information and operation control center. It has a system for monitoring and commanding the ship, a system for navigating the ship, a system for coordinating weapons deployment, a system for handling the external and internal radio communications, a system for controlling and handling the information distribution, a system for power generation and distribution (power management monitoring) and a system for monitoring ship operations.

  • Patent number: 4878052
Abstract: The invention relates to a hand-held transmitter and a receiver tuned to e.g. for remote control of garage doors, the transmitter consisting of a current/voltage supply (100), a coding unit (200) generating coded electromagnetic pulses and with an adjustable code, a pulse shaper (300), an HF oscillator (400), an HF output stage (500), a filter (600) and an antenna (700). In order to simplify the construction of such a transmitter, it is suggested according to the invention that the oscillator (400) comprise a circuit which enables a reliable oscillation build-up pattern in a relatively wide range of frequencies around the rated frequency and that the filter (600) connected between the output stage (500) and the antenna (700) be a steeply flanked low-pass filter.
