  • Patent number: 8653367
Abstract: The disclosure relates to a spherical cap for a high-voltage outgoing line, including an electrically conductive element, which is arranged hollow-cylindrically about a rotational axis and which merges into a hemispherical form at its first axial end. A connection device has a passage opening for electrically and mechanically connecting the element, to an electrical screening pipe. At least two insulation barriers are spaced apart from one another and respectively adapted to the form of the hollow-cylindrical element and enclose the latter at a respective first and second distance. The insulation barriers respectively have a pipe attachment connector for leading through a screening pipe to the connection device. The first insulation barrier is spaced apart from the second insulation barrier by at least one insulation ring which is arranged about the rotational axis and which has a radially fashioned corrugated form.

  • Patent number: 8471662
Abstract: An oil transformer insulation module includes a plurality of disc-like insulation elements of identical type which are arranged flush one above another along a line, connected to one another and have in each case at least a similar outline contour. An insulation element includes a first flat layer and a second layer adjacent and predominantly parallel thereto. The first and second layers are composed of a mechanically strong, planar first insulation material. The first and second layers of the first insulation material are connected to and spaced apart from a third, corrugated layer arranged between the first and second layers and composed of a mechanically strong, planar second insulation material. The third layer has lateral edges and is corrugated in such a way that all the cavities formed by the corrugated form can be completely flooded with a liquid via the lateral edges of the insulation element.

  • Patent number: 8444796
Abstract: Exemplary embodiments are directed to a mold for producing hollow-cylinder-type molded parts, having an external mold portion, that determines an inner cavity of a molded part to be manufactured. The external mold portion has a first cylindrical mold, which extends in a rotationally symmetrical manner about a first axis, and a hemispherical mold having a diameter equal to a diameter of the first cylindrical mold directly adjoins one of the two ends of the cylindrical mold along the first axis, wherein a second cylindrical mold adjoins the hemispherical mold in radial alignment. The hemispherical mold has a spherical cap, the second cylindrical mold is rotatable together with the spherical cap about a second axis which is arranged at an angle with respect to the first axis, and the second cylindrical mold is arranged concentrically with respect to the second rotational axis.
