    Abstract: A stretching device for permanently extending elongate body parts, comprising stretch rods coupled to a support ring with fixing means which are retained on the distal end thereof. The fixing means consists of a fully or partially elastic, substantially cylindrical component which surrounds the body part and is provided with retaining clips on the outer edge which engage with the stretch rods and which are embodied in the form of slotted hollow cylinders provided with a stop plate. The fixing part is used to fix the body part in a secure and careful manner and can be easily joined to or removed from the stretch rod without overstretching.
