  • Patent number: 11919734
Abstract: A method for separating blanks includes continuous conveying of a sheet metal strip in a transport direction to a laser cutting station, concurrent cutting of the sheet metal strip by at least one cutting laser, wherein a cut sheet metal strip is formed from successive sections of the same cutting geometry, transporting the cut sheet metal strip on a first conveyor belt in the transport direction, taking over the cut sheet metal strip from the first conveyor belt, transporting the cut sheet metal strip in the transport direction, separately ejecting the at least one residual blank of each section, transporting the at least one blank of each section into overlap with a second conveyor belt and ejecting the at least one blank from the suction conveyor, and transporting the blanks ejected one after the other from the suction conveyor horizontally in the transport direction to a collecting station.

  • Patent number: 10722981
Abstract: A device for cutting sheet metal plates out of a sheet metal strip includes a laser cutting device moving back and forth in a transport direction of the sheet metal strip and a y-direction running perpendicular to the transport direction, a first conveyor belt having first end moving back and forth together with the laser cutting device in the transport direction, a second conveyor belt having a second end opposite the first end and moving back and forth in the transport direction. The first and second ends are moved such that a laser beam generated by the laser cutting device is directed towards a gap formed between the first and second ends and extending in the y-direction. In order to avoid adhesions to an underside of the sheet metal strip, at least one support strip and/or the dust discharge shaft is provided with a ventilation device for ventilating the gap.

  • Patent number: 10661386
Abstract: An apparatus for cutting metal plates out of a metal strip includes a laser cutting apparatus that is movable back and forth in a transport direction of the metal strip, and a support device for supporting the metal strip to be cut. The support device includes a first support device having a first support strip and a second support device having a second support strip located opposite the first support strip, wherein the first and the second support strip are moved concurrently with the laser cutting apparatus such that a laser beam of the laser cutting apparatus is always oriented towards a gap formed between the first and the second support strip. A dust discharging device is arranged downstream of the support strips in a discharging direction directed away from the laser cutting apparatus. The support strip and/or the dust discharge shaft includes a ventilation device for ventilating the gap.
