  • Patent number: 9752885
Abstract: An improved vehicle navigation system and method provides a route plan or alternative route based at least in part on evolved state information (e.g., a second traffic state, occurring some time after a first traffic state) from which time-efficiencies may be realized relative to navigation in a previous traffic state. Optionally, the route plan may identify an intermediate destination (e.g., such as a refueling or recharging station) and the schedule may allocate time for customer activities at the intermediate destination.
    Type: Grant
    Filed: February 21, 2014
Date of Patent: September 5, 2017
    Assignee: Alcatel Lucent
    Inventor: Matthias Sund

  • Publication number: 20140025364
Abstract: A System for predicting energy need of a plurality of electric-energy vehicles across a determined management area. A processor in the system aggregates, from each electric-energy vehicle within the management area, positional information and energy-need information of each electric vehicle. The processor is adapted to process the positional information and the energy-need information by way of a cognitive method, to determine predictions of the movement of the vehicle and endurance of the battery. The processor is further adapted to combine this determined information to generate a predicted energy distribution model over said management area, indicative of future energy needs for said electric-energy vehicles.

  • Patent number: 7315539
Abstract: A method for handling data between a clock and data recovery system CDR and a data processing unit DP of a telecommunications network node TNN of an asynchronous communications network, using a bit rate adaptation circuit BAS, the bit rate adaptation system BAS including a memory unit MEM with a write process circuit Wp controlled by the recovered clock Rclk and a read process circuit Rp controlled by the local clock Lclk where the bit rate adaptation system BAS also includes a pointer synchronization controller PSC which, depending on the data detected on the input data signal DIb1 of the bit rate adaptation system BAS, sets the read and write pointers to a fixed initial address value. A Clock and Data Recovery system and a telecommunications network node TNN of an asynchronous network, which include a bit adaptation circuit BAS according to the invention, are also disclosed.
