  • Publication number: 20240018728
Abstract: An apparatus for drying material for an asphalt mixing facility comprising a fan for generating an air flow, a heating unit that is fluidically connected to the fan for heating the air flow, and at least one drying drum that is fluidically connected to the heating unit for drying material by means of the heated air flow, wherein the heating unit can be driven electrically.

  • Publication number: 20230296319
Abstract: A flame protection apparatus for installation in a dryer drum includes a plurality of sheet metal lamellae that form a ring arrangement about a longitudinal axis. Each sheet metal lamella includes a concave inner contour in a plane perpendicular to the longitudinal axis. On an outer side facing away from the inner contour, an installation member is configured for installing the sheet metal lamella on the dryer drum.

  • Publication number: 20220368136
Abstract: A discharge device for discharging a plurality of battery cells having an unknown state-of charge is disclosed. The discharge device includes a contact-connection element for the electrical contact-connection of respective battery cells in the plurality of battery cells, and a short-circuiting element. The contact-connection element includes, for each individual battery cell in the plurality of battery cells, an electrical contact having a non-return device. Each of the non-return devices is configured to prevent any return flow of electricity from the respective battery cells, via the contact-connection element, into a battery cell which is assigned to the respective non-return device such that electricity is removed in a unidirectional manner from the respective battery cell. Respective electrical contacts of the contact-connection element are electrically coupled in the direction of flow of electricity, down-circuit of the respective non-return devices.

  • Patent number: 9806516
Abstract: In order to protect reverse currents, several strings of a photovoltaic generator, which are connected in small groups respectively via a DC/DC-converter, parallel to a common DC voltage intermediate circuit, the current which flows over each of the DC/DC-converter is detected and if a reverse current is detected flowing through one of the DC/DC converters, the converter is stopped by controlling the DC/DC-converter.

  • Patent number: 9155577
Abstract: A locking element and a corresponding housing are disclosed, for the locking of the locking element in housing. The locking element includes a locking piece, for example a head, with a peripheral outer surface, running essentially in the direction of a longitudinal axis with at least one clamping surface extending outwards from the longitudinal axis in the form of a wedge, in order to lock the locking piece on the locking element with a corresponding inner contour of the housing. The peripheral outer surface is at least approximately spherical, parabolic, elliptical or hyperbolic in embodiment, viewed in the direction of the longitudinal axis in the region of the clamping surface, which is also true for the inner contour of the housing in the region of the recess, whereby the recess cooperating with the clamping surface can also be cylindrical.
