  • Patent number: 9687305
Abstract: A lighting device for a medical treatment room having a support frame configured to be mounted to a wall or ceiling of the medical treatment room. A first illumination unit on the support frame is configured to provide direct illumination of an operating area and a second illumination unit on the support frame is configured to provide indirect illumination of the operating area. The support frame can be articulated for movement of the first and second illumination units. Movement of the support frame is adapted to activate and deactivate the first and second illumination units. Thus, the lighting device includes a control unit configured to switch the first and second illumination units on and/or off when the support frame is moved relative to the operating area.

  • Patent number: 8235402
Abstract: A coupling device of a transport cart, through which the transport cart can be coupled to a structure of a supply panel for medical applications, wherein the supply panel can be positioned through a ceiling mount. The coupling device has a first and a second jaw that can be coupled to the structure of the supply panel, wherein, in order to couple the transport cart to the structure, the first jaw, via a first latching device, and the second jaw, via a second latching device, can be locked into a closed position (FIG. 6) from a stopped, uncoupled open position upon mechanical pressure contact with the structure.

  • Patent number: 6398172
Abstract: The support for a load, particularly a lamp, includes a standard spring-loaded arm (3) which is pivotable about a vertical axis and vertically adjustable for holding and positioning the load (4). The spring-loaded arm (3) is connected with other parts (9,8) of the support by engagement of an upwardly directed pin-shaped connector element (5) in a downwardly directed connector pipe or socket section (6), so that the spring-loaded arm (3) is suspended from the other parts. The spring-loaded arm (3) with the upwardly directed pin-shaped connector element (5) has universal applicability in a variety of supports including ceiling or wall supports, which have a cantilever arm (8) from which the connector pipe section (6) extends downwardly, and floor or table supports, which have a stand (14,22) and a support tube (9) extending upward from the stand and having a curved section (10) to which the connector pipe section (6) is attached.
