  • Publication number: 20250157252
Abstract: Techniques for automated facial measurement are provided. A set of images that satisfy orientation criteria is identified, comprising, for each image in the set of images, determining an orientation of a face of a user based on a set of coordinate locations for a set of facial landmarks, where at least one image is discarded for failing to satisfy the orientation criteria. A reference distance on the face is estimated based on a first image, where the reference distance indicates a measurement of at least one of the set of facial landmarks. A nose depth of the user is estimated based on a second image based at least in part on the reference distance, and a facial mask is selected for the user based at least in part on the nose depth.

  • Patent number: 12190634
Abstract: Techniques for automated facial measurement are provided. A set of coordinates for a set of landmarks on a face of a user are extracted by processing an image using a machine learning model. An orientation of the face of the user is determined. It is determined that impedance conditions are not present in the images, and a reference distance on the face of the user is estimated based on the image, where the image depicts the user facing towards the imaging sensor. A nose depth of the user is estimated based on a second image based at least in part on the reference distance, where the second image depicts the user facing at an angle relative to the imaging sensor. A facial mask is selected for the user based on the nose depth.

  • Publication number: 20240083722
Abstract: A lifting machinery includes a lower reeve block and an upper reeve block, the lower reeve block hanging by a lifting rope connected to a lifting winch, and a reversible connection mechanical system to be reversibly configurable between two reeving configurations including a connected configuration and a disconnected configuration. The reversible connection mechanical system includes a locking element, a locking complementary element and an elastic return member urging the locking element to engage with the locking complementary element. The lifting machinery further includes a control/command unit configured to pilot the lifting winch and a sensor configured to measure a force on a strand of the lifting rope. The control/command unit is configured to pilot the lifting winch in a connection phase and in a disconnection phase according to the measurement data of the force on the strand of the lifting rope.

  • Publication number: 20240017969
Abstract: An automatic method for determining a physical end-of-travel position (zphys) of a reeve-block of a crane which may be moved in ascent and in descent by means of a lifting cable comprises a phase of ascent of the reeve-block during which a force on a strand of the lifting cable is monitored by a monitoring device, which may be a load sensor such as a gauge pin. The physical end-of-travel position is reached and determined depending a variation of the force on the strand of the lifting cable. From this physical end-of-travel position, a maximum end-of-travel position (zmax) may be determined in particular, which is a position not to be exceeded by the reeve-block when the crane is working.
