  • Publication number: 20230390854
Abstract: A device for depositing material in the form of wire including a coil of wire configured to pivot around an axis of rotation as well as at least one indication system including a support, at least one rod oriented in a direction secant to the axis of rotation, a pad connected to the first end of the rod and configured to bear against a wire wound on the coil of wire, a sliding link configured to allow the rod to translate in the secant direction, as well as a return element configured to translate the rod in the direction of the axis of rotation, the rod occupying a position according to a level of filling the coil. This solution makes it possible to obtain a passive type indication system.

  • Publication number: 20230364680
Abstract: A method for additive manufacturing at least one intersection of first and second ribs by stacking layers of material, at least one layer of material of a first section of the first rib being obtained by depositing at least one bead of material that extends on respective opposite sides of the intersection. Wherein in that at least one layer of material of a second section of the second rib comprises a first part obtained by depositing at least one bead of material at a distance from the first section that extends in the direction of the second section and a second part obtained by depositing at least one bead of material adjacent to the first section that extends in the first direction. Also a method of manufacturing a ribbed panel and a ribbed panel.

  • Patent number: 11806938
Abstract: A method for manufacturing a component by stacking layers of material that are each obtained by depositing and melting, continuously, a material by virtue of an energy beam of which at least one feature is controlled by a control current intensity. The manufacturing method includes a step of monitoring the control current intensity, a step of comparing the monitored control current intensity with a given threshold and a step of stopping the manufacturing method when the control current intensity is above the given threshold. This momentary stopping of the method makes it possible to significantly reduce the risks of energy runaway liable to destroy the deposited material bead and the neighboring structure.

  • Publication number: 20230081526
Abstract: A deposition head for a three-dimensional printer with at least one pay-out device which comprises several wire spools, each spool having a wire to be deposited simultaneously with the other wires, a drive system having a drive roller with several grooves, one for each wire to be deposited simultaneously, a wire guide which has a first end, a second end close to a deposition zone during operation, and also a passage hole opening out at each of the first and second ends, the passage hole having several passage sections at the second end, one for each wire to be deposited simultaneously, and each passage section having a section substantially identical to the section of the wire to be guided.
