Abstract: A game device or a plurality of gaming devices are in communication with one another through a server, application, website or other means. Each gaming device executes a gaming method based on the precepts of mahjong. An ante and/or progressive bet is received. First to play is designated and hands of cards are dealt. Bet options and election of subsets of discards are received. Replacements for discards of equal subset number are dealt and received. Additional bet options may be received before constructing and displaying a final hand based on mahjong rules modified for the game method. The final hand is compared to predefined standard which optionally could be a paytable, a dealer hand, or the hand of at least one additional player to determine a game outcome.

Abstract: A method and device for conducting a game of chance using game indicia, e.g. faces of a die, includes displaying an array of game indicia positions, such as a 3×3 array representing nine dice. Players place one or more proposition wagers. A game indicium is randomly selected for each position. Line propositions are satisfied if a designated subset of the array, e.g. a row, column, or diagonal contains designated game indicia. Optionally, players are only rewarded for line propositions fulfilled on active lines. Pattern propositions are satisfied by game indicia appearing in selected patterns in the array. Optionally, pattern propositions require the player to specify the game indicia appearing the pattern or reward the player for any game indicia appearing in the selected pattern. Board propositions are satisfied by game indicia appearing across the array. Players are rewarded for propositions fulfilled.

Abstract: A method and device for conducting a match game includes selecting game indicia from a game indicia set. A player selects zero or more game indicia and prompts re-selection of the game indicia not selected. Optionally, the re-selection is from the same game indicia set. Additional rounds of holding and re-selecting may be conducted. At the completion of the re-selection rounds, the game indicia displayed are examined for matches and a reward may be issued. Optionally, the game indicia display may be examined for a bonus outcome as well and a bonus, such as a secondary game, may be awarded.

Abstract: Each player places at least one game wager. Game wagers include player hand proposition wagers on the composition of the player hand and inclusion of game indicia having predetermined characteristics in the player hand; competitive wagers on the comparison of the player hand to other player hands and/or a dealer hand; and individual game indicium proposition wagers on an identified characteristic of a designated game indicium of the player hand. Player hands, and optionally a dealer hand, are dealt. Wagers are resolved and rewards are issued for winning wagers.
