  • Publication number: 20230113963
Abstract: A kinemyography sensor includes a support frame and a flexible substrate, wherein at least a portion of the flexible substrate is attached to the support frame. The support frame is configured to attach to a patient's thumb and forefinger and has a bendable middle section configured to bend in response to movement of the patient's thumb. A printed stimulation circuit is printed on the substrate and includes a pair of stimulation electrodes configured to adhere to a patient's skin to deliver a kinemyography stimulus, and a printed bend sensor is printed on the substrate and located on the bendable middle section of the support frame, wherein the printed bend sensor is configured to sense the bending of the support frame.

  • Publication number: 20220302624
Abstract: An electrical connector having a main support with a front and back, top and bottom, and left and right opposite the left. Fingers extend forwardly from the front of the main support to a tip. The fingers each have a top and bottom and are arranged from left to right of the main support with gaps defined between them. A flexible circuit board has inner and outer surfaces with electrical leads on the outer surface. Openings are defined through the flexible circuit board between the electrical leads. The flexible circuit board is wrapped around the fingers such that the outer surface of the flexible circuit board is supported on both the top and the bottom of the fingers and the openings in the flexible circuit board are aligned with the gaps between the fingers.

  • Publication number: 20140134074
Abstract: A device for handling microfluids comprises at least two layers formed from porous hydrophilic material, to each of which is added hydrophobic material through the thickness of the layer to form a hydrophobic barrier defining the boundaries of a channel, so that a fluid arriving in the channel in the layer can travel along the channel in the plane of the layer bordered by the boundary, which at least two layers are fixed on top of each other by an adhesive substance arranged between the layers so that the fluid can be transferred from the channel of one layer directly to the channel of another layer. The adhesive substance is arranged on the boundary or in its immediate vicinity so that the channel remains free of the adhesive substance.
