  • Patent number: 9224672
Abstract: An electronic device comprises a multi-layer printed circuit board. On the printed circuit board there is installed electronic components and a metal frame that encloses at least part of the electronic components. A layer of bonded anisotropic conductive film is disposed on the frame and the electronic components. The layer connects thermally a sheet of metal foil on the frame and on the electronic components. The sheet of metal foil covers the electronic component and the metal frame.

  • Publication number: 20020086644
Abstract: A switch structure which operates at high radio frequencies and which does not increase the current consumption of a device. The implementation of the invention is designated as an antenna switch to be used particularly in a mobile communication device which, for a transmitter and a receiver, operates nonsimultaneously and which can use different frequencies for transmitting and receiving. In this implementation, the operation of the switch is based on using transmission lines having an electrical length of &lgr;/4 in transmitter and receiver branches, impedance conversions provided in the transmission lines then directing a signal in a desired direction. The implementation of the invention is preferably integrated in the front end of the communication device, a multilayer ceramic module being used in the structure thereof, into which module the transmission lines implemented as a strip line structure are supplied.

  • Patent number: 5524288
Abstract: The present invention relates to a method of tuning a radio receiver to a desired frequency. The frequency of each tuning circuit in the radio receiver is controlled by controlling the capacitance diodes of the tuning circuits. The control is accomplished with an individual DA converter arranged for each tuning circuit with which the frequency of the tuning circuit associated therewith can be controlled independently of the other tuning circuits. The optimal control values of each DA converter is defined at least in two points of the frequency range of the radio receiver. These control values are stored in a memory provided in the radio receiver. On the basis of the stored control values the control values for the entire frequency range are calculated for each control means.
