  • Publication number: 20230138714
Abstract: The chip guiding device comprises a shield configured to be arranged at a rotating axis (A) of one of the machine moulder's cutter heads, such that the shield, when the machine moulder is in operation, guides the chips cut by the cutter head's cutter knives from a workpiece into a hose connected with the chip extractor. The shield may be configured to rotate together with the cutter head. The shield may be circular formed with a central hole for arranging the shield at the rotating axis (A). The shield may be provided with fan means to increase an airflow towards the hose. By providing the cutter heads of a machine moulder with chip guiding devices at the rotating axes, connected chip extractors may collect larger amounts of cut chips, and contribute to improved performance of the machine moulder.

  • Patent number: 10994382
Abstract: A support arrangement for supporting a workpiece at a processing device during processing of the workpiece. The support arrangement comprises: a fixating means adapted to arrange an abutment surface of the support arrangement in contact with one side of the workpiece when another opposite side of the workpiece abuts one or more fences of the processing device, a locking means adapted to lock the fixating means in a contact position where abutment surface of the support arrangement abuts the one side of the workpiece when another opposite side of the workpiece abuts the one or more fences of the processing device, and a connecting means adapted to connect the support arrangement with the processing device. The support arrangement may be applied e.g. at saw devices for fixating a log to be sawn, in order to achieve a satisfactory result for a sawing process, e.g. planks with a high dimensional accuracy it is important that the workpiece is reliably fixated during the sawing process.

  • Patent number: 10315327
Abstract: A saw device for split sawing of elongated timber elements has at least two upright post elements horizontally spaced from each other, each of which in a lower portion is adapted to support the saw device. An elongated, lying guide beam is supported in the upper portions of the post elements and is adapted to displaceably carry a saw assembly along the longitudinal extent of the guide beam. Each of at least two lying timber carriers projects perpendicular from and are displaceable in height along a respective post element. Each of the timber carriers is formed as a console beam which is upwards and downwards displaceable and unturnably connected with the respective post element, and is displaceable by a rotatable threaded rod which is rotatably beared in the post element, extends in its height and engages a threaded hole in the rear portion of the timber carrier.

Abstract: The present invention relates to a saw device for split sawing of elongated timber elements, comprising at least two upright post elements horizontally spaced from each other, each of which is in a lower portion is adapted to supportive carry the saw structure, an elongate. An elongated, lying guide beam which is supported in the upper portions of the post elements and is adapted to displaceably carry a saw assembly along the longitudinal extent of the guide beam, and at least two lying timber carriers each projecting perpendicular from and being displaceable in height along a respective post element. Each of the timber carriers is further formed as a console beam which in a rear portion is upwards and downwards displaceable and unturnably connected with the respective post element and is displaceable by means of a rotatable, threaded rod which is rotatably beared in the post element, extends in its height and engages a threaded hole in the rear portion of the timber carrier.

  • Publication number: 20130160893
Abstract: The invention relates to an edge sawing machine, comprising a feed table (3), as well as first and second circular saw blades, which are rotatable in the same direction (12) but of which the first circular saw blade (6) is rotatable on a rotation shaft (8) located below the feed table, while the second circular saw blade (9) is rotatable on a rotation shaft (11) located above the feed table. Thereby, one of the circular saw blades affects a piece of wood with a force (17) that acts against a feeding direction (13) of the wood, while the other circular saw blade affects the piece of wood with a force (18) that acts in the feeding direction. A guide (16) is arranged in alignment with and in the area behind the saw blade which affects the piece of wood (5) with a force (17) directed against the feeding direction (13).

  • Patent number: 6561558
Abstract: The invention relates to a device for performing turning of objects, in particular elongate objects which are round in cross-section, such as tree trunks (12). This is made possible by the device having two levers (1) which are interconnected but movable at least to a limited extent both longitudinally and turnably relative to each other via a hinge (8, 9). Hook members (4) are pivotally connected to the levers in such a manner that the levers can alternately be made to abut, by means of a part (3) supporting a circumferential surface, against the tree trunk while the associated hook member (4) engages the tree trunk. At the same time, the other lever can be turned and moved backwards towards the turning direction of the log so as to engage the tree trunk in a position further backwards relative to the first hook member.
