  • Patent number: 10173014
Abstract: The present invention relates to a cap assembly 10 configured to be connectable to a suitable medicament delivery device having a distal and a proximal end. The cap assembly 10 according to the present invention comprises a removable outer 12 cap and a removable inner 16 cap movably connected in relation to each other. Further, said cap assembly is configured to allow said removable outer cap and said removable inner cap to be fixedly connectable to each other such that the removable outer cap is prevented of being movable with respect to the removable inner cap only when the medicament delivery device is held in a substantially vertical position such that both said removable outer cap and said removable inner cap can be removed from the cap assembly.

  • Publication number: 20190001065
Abstract: A medicament delivery device configured to provide a variable single dose of medicament is disclosed. The medicament delivery device includes a main body and a syringe arranged in the main body, wherein the syringe comprises a medicament. The medicament delivery device further includes a removable cap and a plunger rod operatively arranged to eject the medicament through a delivery member i.e. an injection needle attached to the syringe. Still further, the medicament delivery device includes a tubular member coupled to the plunger rod. The tubular member is configured to rotate during removing of the removable cap, and the rotation releases the plunger rod thereby allowing the plunger rod to travel a predetermined distance so as to prime the medicament delivery device.

  • Publication number: 20180315345
Abstract: The present disclosure relates to a medicament delivery training device comprising a body, a needle cover, a rotator that is torsionally biased, and a plunger rod. When the needle cover is moved from an extended position to a retracted position relative to the body, this linear motion is transformed into a rotational motion of the rotator which thereby releases the plunger rod. The plunger rod, which is biased, is thereby able to move axially. During axial motion of the plunger rod, the plunger rod is arranged to engage with the rotator to thereby displace the rotator axially, eventually resulting in a first angular distance rotation of the rotator. Upon release of the biased needle cover from the extended position, the rotator is allowed to rotate a second angular distance, thus obtaining a position which prevents the needle cover to move from the extended position towards the retracted position.

  • Publication number: 20180272073
Abstract: A medicament delivery device includes a housing having proximal and distal ends; a delivery member connected to the housing; a medicament container operably arranged within the housing; a drive mechanism configured to act on the medicament container for priming and for expelling a dose of medicament; and an activator mechanism configured to interact with the drive mechanism, such that a first interaction between the activator mechanism and the drive mechanism causes the container to move toward the delivery member, in which the container is primed, and such that a subsequent interaction between the activator mechanism and the drive mechanism causes a dose of medicament to be expelled through the delivery member.

  • Patent number: 9827380
Abstract: A cap assembly for a medicament delivery device having a housing and a medicament container holder. The cap assembly includes a retainer member connectable to the container holder; a hub having a needle and coaxially movable within the retainer member; an inner cap connected to the hub and the retainer member; an outer cap coaxially arranged to the inner cap; and a cap clutch mechanism having a locking member that is axially movable in relation to the inner and outer caps between a disengaged position, in which the outer cap is rotatable relative to the inner cap, and an engaged position, in which the outer cap is rotationally locked to the inner cap. The cap clutch mechanism also has a clutch biasing device arranged between the outer cap and the locking member for biasing the locking member for keeping it in the disengaged position.
