    Abstract: A method of verifying the strength of a vehicle in combination with auxiliary equipment fitted includes steps in which the vehicle chassis number or specification number are specified so that the vehicle specification and its parameters can be collected in a vehicle database, the parameters of the auxiliary equipment are specified, and a strength calculation for the vehicle is performed, based on the parameters of the vehicle and auxiliary equipment. In this way an assessment whether a reinforcement is needed when auxiliary equipment is fitted to a vehicle can be made.
