  • Publication number: 20240060106
Abstract: Methods and processes for producing aerobic digestion products, such as organic acids, from a low-rank coal substrate are provided. Also provided are multistage bioreactor systems for carrying out the described methods and processes. In another aspect, product compositions comprising organic acids produced by the described methods and processes are provided, as well as methods for their use, including for the improvement of soil quality and/or plant growth.

    Publication date: February 22, 2024
Inventors: Michael K. Danquah, Robert D. Chisholm, Allana K. Welsh, Leslie M. Perry, Maud A.W. Hinchee, Smrithi Rajagopal, Josh J. Redublo
  • Publication number: 20220213003
Abstract: In some embodiments, an agricultural formulation includes living microorganisms and an elevated concentration of a chelating agent. Formulations include one or more populations of live microorganisms, a chelate composition including at least one chelating agent and at least one micronutrient, and optionally one or more macronutrients and/or a biostimulant. Formulations can have a shelf life of at least 2 years.

  • Patent number: 5914451
Abstract: A transformation protocol is described for the particle mediated transformation of soybean. This protocol is based on gene delivery into the growing meristem of a soybean embryo. Prior transformation protocols based on meristematic gene delivery in soybean did not depend on selection due to difficulties in using selection agents in differentiated tissue in soybean. It has been found that a post bombardment culture with glyphosate selection can dramatically increase the efficiency of such a transformation protocol.
