  • Publication number: 20070220339
Abstract: A current parameter file is periodically selected at random from an active pool, and testcases are generated and executed from the current parameter file against a device, where the execution of the testcases against the device hits events generated by the device over periods. A determination is made whether a number of the events hit by all testcases from the current parameter file in a current period meets a goal for the current parameter file. If the determination is false, the current parameter file is added to a miss pool if a number events for all periods for the current parameter file does not meet a goal for all periods for the current parameter file; the current parameter file is added to a retired pool if the number of events for all periods for the current parameter file meets the goal for all periods for the current parameter file; and the current parameter file is changed to another parameter file from the active pool.

  • Publication number: 20070220390
Abstract: A method for verifying the equivalence of two representations of a stimulus pattern for testing a design is disclosed. The method includes receiving a base pattern file representing the stimulus pattern in a first file format. A derivative pattern file in a second file format is generated from the base pattern file. The derivative pattern file is parsed to create a first testing file in a third file format, and the first testing file is simulated against the design in a first simulation. Whether the first testing file passed the first simulation against the design is determined, and in response to determining that the first testing file does not pass the first simulation against the design, the base pattern file is parsed to create a second testing file in the third file format. The second testing file is simulated in a second simulation.

  • Publication number: 20060190233
Abstract: A method and system that utilizes a graphical interface that enables a user to select and capture building blocks of a Device Under Test (DUT) test scenario from a previously run test case or from multiple stimulation results. Each of these extracted building block events or “tags” are created from a slice of a graphical stimulation view, which slice is converted into a coded stimulus written in a high-level language code that represents the condition(s) that created the graphical simulation view. These coded stimuli (representing the tags) are stored in a library. To create a corner case scenario or sequence in the DUT, a user utilizes a graphical interface to select the different extracted tags from the library and combines them together.

  • Publication number: 20050028035
Abstract: A waveform viewer implemented method of generating and manipulating user specified language simulation code such that an integrated circuit digital design can be modified. The visual capabilities of the waveform viewer allow a plurality of inputs for processing. The previous test's user specified language lines and the original signal waveforms are viewable on the same screen as the new code lines and waveforms. The waveform viewer also displays the contents of the portable reusable code portable reusable coded storage device. Each line of code and every signal can be manipulated by the user within the waveform viewer. The modified code output is applied to the test sequence through the waveform viewer, and the integrated circuit is retested with the new code. After modifications to the integrated circuit are complete, the proved device's stored user specified language can be transported to and inserted in other device architectures.

  • Patent number: 6196272
Abstract: A modular insulated conduit, and a packaged kit comprising plural modular conduits. Each modular conduit has a conduit and an insulating sleeve adhered about the conduit. The conduit is longer than the insulating sleeve, extends beyond both ends of the sleeve, and may optionally be either rigid or flexible. Optionally, the modular conduit has a reflective barrier which may be between the conduit and sleeve or outside the sleeve. The kit includes connecting and branching fittings. The insulation is effective from subfreezing to hyperboiling temperatures.
